One of the running shoe-hiking boot hybrids the combined the best of two worlds. I gained deep appreciation of Adidas running shoes from the mid-sixties. The Adidas folks truly understand bio-mechanics and their shoes show that. These shoes are amazing in that the shoes place the foot in the correct position for fast hiking.
only gave a 4 star for now because we haven't had "winter weather" just yet. It is coming though, so we will be sure to update to the quality of how weatherproof they are.
this pair of hiking boots is one of the most comfortable boots i have eve worn. in my opinion, they are also aesthetic so sometimes i wear them casually. i replaced the laces with no tie shoelaces and this makes them getting on and off so much easier. the fit is perfectly fine, i wear a size 9.5 in adidas running shoes and a 9.5 here also works. they are waterproof and the lugs on the bottom of the soles are deep and wide providing excellent grip.
I'm very happy with these boots. Haven't field tested them but on feet, they feel awesome. I have wider feet and was scared ordering my regular size would be a tad small, especially from other reviews. No need to order a half size up. It does hug your midfoot slightly but it isn't uncomfortable at all, your feet feel very secure in these boots. Lightweight and waterproof, can't wait to go to the badlands and Custer State Park in South Dakota with these.
A little wide for my feet but they’re very comfortable for hiking water proof boots and they work awesome in wet grass. Great boots all around.
