When it comes to hiking footwear, the adidas Swift R3 Mid Gore-TEX Hiking Shoes come packed with features that cater to serious adventurers and casual hikers alike. The EVA midsole offers excellent cushioning, making each step feel light and buoyant, even over rocky trails. This is complemented by an external heel clip that enhances stability, crucial for navigating uneven terrain.
The Continental Rubber outsole truly shines in terms of grip. Whether you find yourself on slippery rocks or muddy paths, these shoes provide a reliable foothold that boosts confidence as you trek. Coupled with the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, these boots ensure that your feet stay dry regardless of weather conditions, allowing you to focus on your adventure instead of your gear.
On the downside, potential buyers should note that the snug fit may not accommodate individuals with broader feet comfortably. Additionally, while the initial investment might be more substantial than other options, the longevity and performance justify the price for regular hikers. Some users have reported a longer break-in period, but this is often a common trait among robust hiking footwear.

Some squeaking when I walk on the floor when they were new but now they don't do so bad that's a minor thing that they're just excellent shoes I'm very pleased I'm switching to these from Solomon's cuz the quality is so much better I'm discovering that been wearing them for a couple months so it's they're still new they look great they're stylish and with the new laces that I got and that's more style tune
I first tried these out in Valley of Fire Park in Nevada and then in Zion National Park. They were comfortable from the first day with one minor exception. The metal eyelet on the top of the shoe is a little bulky and can potentially dig into the outside of your leg above the ankle, but it hasn't been much of a problem for me. I have hiked through some wet grass in these, and my feet have stayed dry. So far, so good with the Gore-tex, but in my experience, the waterproof capabilities of these types of hikers do not last long. We will see. I really like the soles on these, and the traction has been great on all sorts of terrain.
The shoes are made with good quality and the fit was perfect 👍
It hurts the back of my foot when I put on until broken in.
Excellent fit, high quality, good looking shoes. I really like the shoes with the exception of the speed lace on top, they always hurt/bother me until I get used to it-personal complaint
My husband likes the shoes very much and would recommend purchase.
I currently own 4 pairs of these. I have planter fasciitis and back problems. I’ve disc golfed over 200 games and I walk my dogs daily. I’ve definitely walked well over 300 miles in these. I’ve walked through water, mud, dust, woods, and concrete. I’ve owned these boots/shoes for a little over a year and a half. I probably will only get another walk and maybe a game in before they are finally done. Unless I go and buy some shoe glue. The complaints I have aren’t enough to give it 4 stars instead of . The lace holes broke before the laces not a huge deal I drilled into the shoe to solve that problem. I’d recommend using thicker laces. I live in FL the shoes are a little hot. I’ll take warm feet over pain.
I loved these shoes and wanted them to work but they were just too narrow. They looked great and appeared to be of high quality
