The adidas Men's HVC Wrestling Shoes are designed to meet the needs of serious wrestlers looking for a shoe that balances weight, durability, and functionality. Constructed from a unique blend of synthetic suede and synthetic leather, these shoes offer a lightweight feel without sacrificing strength. The full-length outsole allows for consistent mat contact, ensuring you maintain superior grip during intense matches. Additionally, the shoe features a single-layer mesh that enhances breathability, which is crucial during those high-energy bouts. An elasticized lace retention cover system keeps the laces tucked securely, preventing distractions while you focus on your performance.

When it comes to wrestling shoes, the adidas Men's HVC stands out in several categories. Starting with its overall build quality, the combination of synthetic suede and leather not only provides durability but also contributes to a lightweight design that many users appreciate during competitions.
In terms of performance, the full-length outsole excels in providing consistent mat contact and superior grip. Wrestlers know that stability is key during matches, and the HVC ensures that you stay grounded even during the most demanding moves. The shoe’s ability to mold to the mat gives you an edge over your competitors.
Breathability is another essential factor, especially during long training sessions or matches. The single-layer mesh does an excellent job at allowing airflow, keeping your feet cool and dry. This feature is critical, as overheating can lead to discomfort and hinder performance.
Finally, the elasticized lace retention cover system deserves mention; it effectively keeps the ends of the laces tucked away, reducing the risk of accidental catches or snags during movement. While some might find that the shoes require a bit of break-in time, the eventual comfort and fit make it worthwhile.

I used a gc to buy these. So glad that I did. I like the comfort and sleek look. I matched them with a white Adidas crop sweatshirt and black sweatpants or leggings. Super cute!I'm women's size 9

Love them!!!
I just received the HVC Adidas Wrestling shoes that I had ordered on March 5, 2016. The shoe itself was perfectly fine, however, one of the shoe laces was partially torn and about to rip off. I am very disappointed with this defect because it was a birthday present for myself, and I was in desperate need of new shoes for upcoming college level competitions. Although I can still tie the lace, it will not last very long.
Water gets in if you accidentally step in a puddle,,,quickly!!!
Sizing chart was not accurate. Had to return.
