Was looking for a cheaper alternative since I go through boots quickly with my work. These are very comfortable and well made. Have had for about 2 months with no issues. Plus my young kids love the tassels on them.Only complaint is breathability my feet get really sweaty and smelly after a 14+ hour day. But on the flip side I have had no issues in the rain/water penetration. Been in several inches of water and about a foot of mud/muck with no issues.
Just bought these boots and pulled them out of the package. Threw them on my feet and went to lace them up. Ad the pictured show as I laced them the lace hook shot off. This is ridiculous. I have had more then a dozen cowboy style of these boots and besides not having a spur ridge thy were the best boots. These are sub par. Don't waste your time, go buy Chippewa loggers.
Bought these for my son's welding class and they were a perfect fit and the sale price was even better.
I work construction, all types of environment. Boots are well constructed and comfortable. I currently have been wearing them for a little more than a month. Great work boot. One complaint, they stated that the boots were composite toe infact they are not they are steel toe. Not happy about this, and yes that is a magnet.
