The Ad Tec 6in Certified Electrical Hazard Free Work Boots deliver a commendable performance in various work settings. Their construction begins with strong and reliable black leather, which not only looks good but holds up against daily wear and tear. The composite safety toe offers ample protection for your toes without the added weight of steel, making it easier to stay agile on your feet throughout the day.
One noteworthy feature is the rubber outsole that boasts oil and slip resistance. This characteristic is vital for anyone who works in environments where slips and falls are a concern. Coupled with the electrical hazard protection, these boots are ideal for non-metallic workplaces. The lack of metal parts means you can move around confidently without worrying about potential electrical shocks.
Comfort-wise, users will be pleased to find that the break-in period is short. Many have noted how easy they are to slip on, which is a considerable advantage when you're rushing to get to work. The non-slip outsole does its job effectively, providing excellent traction on various surfaces.
However, while the boots generally receive praise, there are some drawbacks to consider. A few users mentioned discrepancies in sizing, so it's advisable to try them on to ensure the perfect fit. Additionally, these boots might not offer adequate warmth in colder conditions, which could be a factor if you work outdoors frequently.
Overall, the Ad Tec 6in Work Boots provide a solid choice for anyone seeking safety, comfort, and style in their work footwear.

These are an incredibly good deal for the price. they fit well. They are made from real leather. The plastic cap toe is made from thick high density plastic and should protect your toes from even very heavy falling objects. These may not be quite as strong as steal toes but plastic will actually break instead of bending and trapping your toes like steal toe boots. These boots are made to be non-conductive of electricity and thus steal toes just wouldn't work anyway. The construction might cause some blisters for about a week or so but if you are used to having to wear work boots all the time you should get use to this in about a week. Every time I get a new pair of work boots I have always gotten blisters even if they are high quality. Allot of cheap low quality work boots actually won't cause blisters because they put excessive padding in them which will cause your feet to sweat and overheat in hot weather. These boots are made of high quality leather with some cushioning around the ankle but not too much. If you have bad foot issues you will probably have to put insoles in these and every pair of boots and shoes you buy. For people with normal feet these should not need insoles. Again excessive padding such as padded soles will actually cause your feet to excessively sweat and shortening the lifespan of the boots. I do arborist and landscaping work so I have to have boots that don't cause my feet to overheat in hot weather and these are very good for that. Also I go through a few pairs a year so I prefer not to spend too much money on them. All in all I am very satisfied with the price and quality of these boots and will probably buy my next pair from AdTec as I am very impressed with this brand.
I ordered 10 WW.1. It's NOT WIDE at all.2. Shie laces are short3. Cannot even slip in my FOOT4. IT HAS SOFT TOE protection.... surprise 😮
Looks good so far, only time will tell if the shoe lasts.
I bought these for catering work and after I wore them for 20 worth of events the first weekend I got them, they passed the test. The ankle is a little wide and leads to slight chaffing on the back of the ankles, but some thicker socks fixed that. Cleaned up they look presentable with a pair of slacks or nice jeans. A great, affordable, and so far very durable pair of boots. I will probably get them again when the time comes.
I bought these boots because I wanted safety toe boots. I like the look because they remind me of the old style of boots I had in the Navy. I wanted them a little a large so that I could put arch support inserts in and to have the option of wearing them with thicker socks so I ordered a half size bigger than I normally wear. I ordered a very wide width (I have slightly wide feet)( I didn't realize how wide the the boots would be) and they were very roomy. I was concerned at first that they may be too large but after I put my inserts in they fit very well. The first time I wore them, I wore them all day walking around outside in dirt and I found them to be surprisingly light and very comfortable. That same night I polished the toe and I think they look great.
Soooo uncomfortable!! When I first tried these on, I thought they fit well, but soon realized that they were very stiff and felt a bit odd when wearing them. Then I also noticed that the “leather” exterior was peeling away at the toes—Obviously not real leather! (See photo) Kept wearing them until I could find better boots (this is all happening within the period of about 2 months) and I ended up with plantar fasciitis for the first time in my life. Bought a pair of insoles and when I tried to remove the insoles that come with the boot, they were paper thin and couldn’t really even be called insoles. Now while trying to heal from PF, I noticed my foot feeling better with my insoles in other shoes, but when I wear these, the problem seems to act up again! I have worked on hard surfaces for years with no issue (and I am young, and well within the healthy BMI range btw). I am convinced that these shoes gave me PF. They almost curl up with wear, so that the fascia in your arch are stretched out in a bad way. Even insoles don’t help! Buy Keens instead! That is what I am going to do. Amazon gave me a refund for this.
fits good,but heavy.
Little big, but that's my fault for never getting my feet properly measured. Comfortable fit, they look great, and are holding up well for walking and hiking.
