My son loves these shoes. They fit perfect and are very comfortable....volcom shoes are something we see often so that's a great thing as well....Very satisfied.
This is my second pair of Volcom Lo Fi's (I also bought the navy blue style) and both are extremely comfortable and wear well when dressing up or down. These are certainly my favorite "boat" style shoe, even comparing to Vans or Reef's Deckhand. The Reef's are poorly made to hold up to walking, and offer very little cushion. The Vans were very comfortable, but haven't held up as well as my Volcom's. Neither competing product looks decent enough to wear with slacks, but these are great! Highly recommended!
Overall I'd suggest using these shoes strictly for fashion - I used these to skate and I had holes in them by day 3, but it was kind of expected due to the thin canvas and knowing it's more of a fashion shoe. Good board feel, but bad durability for skating. Good overall.
