Great supportive shoe
The shoe felt too tight on the top. After I got them on they fit good. The overall shoe was the right size. And they fit perfectly.
As others said, they seem to run quite narrow, and that’s why I bought them! Shoes that don’t lace are always very wide and loose on my narrow feet, but these actually fit well. They have stretched out a little bit, but I don’t know that they would stretch enough to be comfortable on a truly medium width foot. They are pretty supportive but not as comfortable as I expected (though not UNcomfortable).
These shoes are made for very narrow and skinny feet. I wouldn't say that the average people have narrow feet but I would suggest a wider option for people with strong wide feet.
UPDATED:I tried breaking these shoes in and nope! By the time I gave up on these shoes the window for turning them back in had ended. I've never been so disappointed in a shoe! It was so narrow that the comfort the shoe offered by heels was secondary to the pain of my pinky toe. These shoes are egregiously priced considering the only feet these shoes can comfortably fit are Sideshow Bob's!_________________________________________________________________________________The fit was narrower than expected. It still fit, but if my foot was any wider I would've had to send them back. I would suggest wearing sock liners or very thin socks with these shoes.I have composite wood floors and when I say this shoe have no grip, they have no grip! The soles are a hard plastic. It reminds me of dress shoes...really comfortable dress shoes, but shoes that will have you slipping and sliding at the least provocation.
I got a size 11 because a size 10 was sold out. And vionic shoes are roomy for me. But it feels good and no foot pain. I got them as an alternative to the slippers because I needed something I could exercise in and I knew the slippers only last me 4 to 5 months at best. So far, no problems
Shoes look nice. Took them on vacation to Europe. Became deformed inside back of heel and had to manually straighten. Then wore a huge blister on the bottom of one toe. Won't be taking anywhere again. Tried to wear them just for a few miles in the park today and they are rubbing on the side of one ankle. Haven't had this many problems with a shoe in years!! My first and last purchase of this brand. Sure wish I had my money back.
I purchased this shoe in August to wear around the house and when climbing a step stool is needed. It was a good purchase not only for plantar fasciitis, but they are so comfortable. I wear a 7.5 medium in a closed-toe Vionic shoe and this shoe fits great. I have worn the shoe almost daily since purchasing. I purchased another pair today in the same color (Slate), as the shoe is on sale again for $40 and the Black was not available in my size. The only thing I have found I don't like about the shoe, is the ribbon on the tongue of the shoe does move slightly and does not stay straight. Cosmetic issue for me as it has no bearing on how the shoe fits/wears. Happy I found this shoe.
