When it comes to everyday footwear, the Vans Era stands out for its blend of style and functionality. The breathable canvas upper ensures your feet stay cool, making them suitable for long hours of wear. The addition of a padded collar provides ample comfort, reducing the risk of chafing during extended use.
While fashionable, they do fall slightly short on arch support, which might be a consideration for those who prioritize additional cushioning in their footwear. The double-stitched vamp adds to their longevity, making them a smart choice for anyone looking for a reliable pair of trainers.
In terms of versatility, the black colour allows you to effortlessly coordinate them with various outfits, whether it's jeans, shorts, or even casual trousers. They truly are an all-rounder when it comes to casual footwear.

Vans are my favorite brand of shoe, so I knew they wouldn't let me down. I bought the all-black Vans because I needed a pair of black shoes as part of my high school jazz ensemble uniform, and they didn't fail. They look really awesome with my jazz outfit, and the Off the Wall logo on the back matches my favorite red tie (my jazz outfit consists of black pants, a black button up shirt, and a red tie). The size for Vans is down half a size than most of the other brands I've worn (I'm usually a seven in women's, and I'm a 6.5 in Vans). If you already have a pair of Vans, you can probably just go off the size of those! In the past, I've heard people complain that Vans hurt when you wear them, but usually they just need to be broken in! It only takes a few days and then the soles should fit to the shape of your feet.
Brand new vans! Super happy with them. Paid for faster shipping which was very pricey, and it came within three days.
I was hesitant to buy these shoes from Amazon simply because I wasn't sure how the new style of these Vans were going to fit and I wanted to buy authentic Vans. These are 100% authentic and comes in the original Vans shoe box. For people with a wider foot these will definitely feel tight, but they are true to size! I'm a female and loved how these shoes did not appear too masculine, but also offered more material on the shoe than the women's version. Very satisfied with my purchase and will be buying more in other colors!!!!
Very good!!!
These are pretty solid shoes only have two things to say though. First off when walking the bottom tip of the shoe will sometimes scrape on the ground but I can get used to that. Also the shoes do stretch out, so they were pretty tight when I first got them but now they've stretched out so they're comfortable.
About 1/2 size too small. Bought originally for $59.35 with tax and shipping, and now I have to return them and I can't order again because the price shot up to $75.00 plus tax and shipping.
Great sneakers with Van label. Bought for myGrand Son. He loves bed them.
It’s weird to review Vans cause most people know how they fit. I accidentally bought Eras instead of Authentics, so I’m going to use that for my review. The era is very similar to the authentic and looks prett much the same, but the era has cushioning around the ankle. I personally don’t like this because I don’t skate and I am used to the soft, flexible opening of authentics. But I won’t take a star off cause it’s my fault I got the wrong ones. If you like cushioning, these are great. Keep in mind that all Vans take some getting used to. They are stiff at first, but my 4 year old authentics are the comfiest shoes I own. If you are new to Vans, you won’t be disappointed. They make great shoes. Definitely not worth 50 bucks, but you’re paying for the name. They know they make good skate shoes that everyone recognizes, so they can charge whatever they want. I will be sending these back so I can buy Authentics like I wanted, but I still rate these shoes 5 stars. You will never be disappointed in Vans.
