Detailed Review

The Under Armour Men's Speedform AMP 2.0 stands out in several categories, making it a worthy contender in the world of training sneakers. One of the most commendable features is the precision fit provided by the UA SpeedForm technology, which contours to your foot for a custom feel. This eliminates distractions, allowing you to focus entirely on your workout.

In terms of durability, the lightweight woven upper is crafted from abrasion-resistant materials that are built to endure rigorous training. The external TPU heel counter adds to the shoe's structural integrity, giving you that added peace of mind during explosive movements.

When assessing comfort, the moisture-wicking SpeedForm sockliner does an excellent job in providing cushioning and seamless comfort. These are tied with one other pair of shoes I purchased from Native as the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn

When it comes to buying tennis shoes, I’ve been buying Nike since I can remember. That has now changed. These are tied with one other pair of shoes I purchased from Native as the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Nike for years your prices have been ridiculously increasing whilst simultaneously quality has been declining; you have finally lost my business. Under Armor you have now won my business.PS Under Armor don’t get all egotistical and start raising your prices. Their shoes, and no shoes is worth hundreds upon hundreds of dollars!

Decent shoe

Decent shoe look wise but does nothing much in my option for performance. UA HOVR technology is great on the other hand. Its personal preference. Nothing bad to say on UA.

Take a lot of time breaking them in

When I unbox this shoe, I fell in love with how light they were and I love how thick their soles are. However, if you want to start wearing them right away, it's going to take time to break them in. I wore them every day for 9 days straight. The soles are really hard, and it took a few days to get used to them. Then they ran a little more narrow than I expected, so I had to loosen the laces every four hours that I would wear them. But then retighten them. They are great for front/back squats and deadlifts. But either than that, this shoe is really cool looking

Good fit

There is an opening between your arch that you can make out in the pictures. The shoe fits great and feels great but some people may not like the look. It looks like you are wearing an ice skate with a shoe attached.

Good for lifting, nothing else

These shoes are very weird looking, you could wear them with a white tuxedo and people wouldn't notice. Weird dress shoe design and a stiff ankle collar. I think they are fairly decent for lifting but otherwise they are not comfortable to walk or run in.

Good shoes!

The shoes made of high quality for multi sport but better use in indoor because the sole depreciate when outdoor training. I wearing US8.5W and the size US9(M) is fit to me, the size same as Nike, Adidas or New Balance shoes.

Style - I like to have my wife with me when I try ...

I purchased these shoes in size 11.5 with the black colorway. I will base my review on 2 criteria: Comfort and Style. I would typically include a third category for these type of shoes (performance) but I did not make it that far.Style - I like to have my wife with me when I try on shoes or clothes as she tends to wear her emotions on her sleeve and she doesn't let me talk myself into keeping things that are ugly just because they were a good deal. Her comment on the shoe was it kind of looked like an ice skate with the weird sole on this shoe. Around the arch or middle of the shoe there is a gap where that portion of the sole does not attach to the actual shoe upper. From the pictures online it was not quite as extreme/noticeable as it was once on my foot. Had these had a more normal sole on them they would have been much more attractive. 2 out of 5 stars on looks. Normal sole would have qualified for a 3.5-4 star on looks.Comfort - This is where I was really disappointed. I think I could have gotten past some of the style factors had these been super comfortable. A very comfortable workout shoe can suffer a bit in the look department for the right price. That was not the case with these shoes. They seemed to have little to know cushioning and any cushioning it did have was masked by the tightness/narrowness of the shoe. After only a few seconds I knew these were a no go in this department. Maybe they loosen up with time and would feel more comfortable but for shoes that do not look very good in person it wasn't worth the time, energy or money. 2 out of 5 star on comfort.

Different... but that’s not necessarily a bad thing!

These are certainly different from your typical shoe. The way the tongue is designed and how they lace. It’s a little uncomfortable until you get used to it. They attract attention though, I get asked all the time where i got them.
