I was looking for a warm, comfortable, supportive vegan slipper with a rubber sole, which as one might expect was a hard thing to find, but these TOMS slippers fit the bill in every way. The lining of the slipper is very soft, the interior has support just like a good shoe would, rather than the deflating memory foam you find in your average slipper. The sole is rubber, and the rubber comes up the sides a bit just like a tennis shoe, so you can walk to the mail box or take out the trash without tearing up the slippers. I needed a slipper with good heel support, because I spend a lot of time in the kitchen making meals and cleaning, and end up with lower back pain if I wear flat footwear. These slippers are perfectly supportive, as I can stand in them comfortably on our concrete floors for over 3 hours if necessary, and I don't have to worry about stepping in spilled dishwater etc. since the soles are waterproof. I had been considering a standing mat for the kitchen, but I have no need for one now. The slippers are also very cute, and aren't made with any animal products like suede, leather or wool. Furthermore, I don't know if they do this with an amazon purchase, but I found out when these arrived that if you buy a pair of TOMS, the company gives away a pair of shoes to a needy child. I was a little unsure about the high price of the slippers at first, but now having seen the quality and knowing that the company is also donating a pair of shoes per pair sold, I think $50 is completely worth it. I HIGHLY recommend these slippers. If I were ever to give these as a gift, I would probably order them directly from TOMS rather than through Amazon, just to make sure the donation takes place.As for sizing and fit, when they first arrived they were a little hard to get each foot into, but once in, they fit comfortably with plenty of room for my foot at the toe and on the sides. I'm normally a 7-1/2 and don't have a wide foot. I bought the 7M, so perhaps they run a little large. After the first wear they have stretched a bit, so that now I can easily slip them on. I really couldn't have asked for a better pair of slippers. Everything about them has far exceeded my expectations.

Love these slippers so far! They are warm without being stifling. They stay on my feet well, my heels aren't slipping out of the back. The outer sole is made of thick, hard rubber. It seems like a durable sole. I've been walking my dog wearing them. The shoe seems like it's actually made better than the regular Toms. The insole is removable, so maybe orthotics can be put in. I haven't tried to put mine in since they're pretty comfortable as is.Surprisingly I did need to size down. I'm usually between an 8.5 and 9, so I originally ordered a 9. They were a little too big. My heel slipped out of the back with every step and I didn't feel very stable in them, I exchanged for an 8 and they are perfect.
Way too small. Need to go a size up. Maybe even 2.
LOVE! They are a little more sparkly than I had anticipated, but I love sparkles so it was a pleasant surprise! I usually wear an 8-8.5. I ordered the 8 and they fit perfectly. They are so soft and warm! The hard soles are nice for possibly walking to the mailbox, and maybe going to a friends house to drink wine. I personally wouldn't wear them to the store, but hey, live your life. Also, my dog sheds like crazy and this fabric is easy peasy to dust off. Two thumbs up!
Wish I had ordered a 7 vs 8. I am a 7.5 typically, and after some wear these have stretched. They work fine, otherwise and they are comfy and durable.
I loved these slippers. The fit was perfect! My problem was each time I walked into my kitchen the slippers slipped. I did slip, fell and still had a hard time returning them!I'm surprised that no one else has had this issue. Sad for me!
