I suppose I should begin by saying I have never owned a pair of Timberlands. The only experience I have with the brand is owning a wallet from them years back, and I knew a guy that had a pair of their boots years ago as well. I primarily wore Van's growing up, and in recent years, found myself wearing running shoes daily because well, they are significantly more comfortable and Van's were tearing my feet and lower back to shreds. I work 2 jobs, and had 2 pairs of shoes that were giving out on me, so I wanted to try to combine a shoe I could use for both jobs, that was comfortable, and still had a simple, elegant style for casual use. Cue, these Timbs. They looked like a pair of Mid-Top Van's I wore out recently, except the style here is alot more streamlined and simple. Classy, if you will. I am obviously picky with comfort, so I didn't know what to expect. I popped these shoes on right before a shift at my security night job, and by time I got from the parking garage to the venue, they were already broken in. Within 20 mins, they had that feel of these are the go to shoes for everything, that you wear all day, everyday, no issues. The rubber soles on them provide excellent grip when I'm under the dash of a car, or walking through spills at the venue. They are a chukka boot height, so getting them on usually requires you to loosen the top laces a bit, but once you're in, you're in. The fit is great, the style is great, the build quality seems higher than most shoes in the price range I have bought before. Without a doubt, Timberland footwear has become a force to be reckoned with in my eyes for daily worn shoes that can translate easy from casual to work, back and forth effortlessly. I will seriously be keeping my eyes on these to buy a 2nd pair when they go on sale.
It's just what I've been looking for a great price.Fits and feels amazing, elegant, casual and whatever you want to use it.Great material product!( 8.5 ) it's just the right size for slim feets even if your regular size is ( 9 )
Have been eyeing these for a while but they've been sold out. Finally got a pair and wore them for the first time yesterday. They are a nice looking shoe, I have a wide foot and a high arch and I felt comfortable in the shoe without any discomfort. They don't offer much in the way of arch support and the material is a bit stiff around the top of the shoe but I imagine that will loosen up as I wear them more. Satisfied with the purchase and would consider buying other colors.
Good looking shoe. Timberland makes great lookin shoes however they don’t have much support or padding in the sole.
I ordered my shoes a 1/2 size bigger but this is ok with me because it gives me some room to add thicker socks if I need them. Over all I am very satisfied with theses shoes, they are very comfortable. Fast service and comfortable shoes. I have had these shoes now for 2 years they are still the most comfortable, well made shoes I have bought. I will surely be getting anoulther pair soon.
Loving these shoes so far! They appear to be well built--much to one's expectation of a brand such as Timberland--and extremely comfortable. I really dig the contrast of materials (Nubuck with canvas fabric upper), especially in the gray. I learned the hard way that the Nubuck is relatively easy to clean as I spilled a bit of food on them early on. Picked up a nubuck cleaning kit and within minutes I had them looking brand new.Overall, I love these shoes and will purchase another pair soon. Enjoy!
Good shoe, fits great, fits well with casual pants, joggers, jeans.... like the color as well. Hard to find good looking grey colored shoes that are not hiking shoes ( which i like also), and are well made.
I have purchased this pair of shoes for several years now and it seems like the design/material has changed a bit now. The shoe is a bit tighter and the height of the sole has increased. Still a good shoe but no where near what it used to be
