Having never owned a pair of Taos and after reading numerous reviews on these I originally ordered these in a half size bigger than my normal size. Unfortunately, the half a size bigger was bigger than I like. I decided to go ahead and order my normal size and wait for them to come before doing a return to see the difference in the fit between the two. My normal size fit perfect! I would say that maybe the half a size bigger was more for people with wider feet as a have a narrow foot. Since I’ve just received them I have only walked around the living room in them but they seem to be very comfortable and the arch support is great! They look so cute and I can’t wait to wear them.

Pros: Taos offers a well made shoe and this pair was no exception. They are good looking, good quality and this style is very versatile. In comparison with similar shoes I believe they are worth the price.Cons: Because of all the above, and the array of styles they offer that I really like, I keep trying to find a pair of Taos that fits me properly but I'm afraid this is my last attempt. The length and width are fine but the toe box narrows too much for me. The arch and heel were very comfortable but the front insole seemed somewhat thin for walking any distance. Now, sadly, to Returns.
After my Plantar Fasciitis finally went away, I wanted to buy only shoes with arch support. These definitely do the trick! They don’t slip off the back of my foot and are ver comfortable. I just wish they came in wide widths. They are slightly snug on my feet, but they’ll probably stretch since they’re made of canvas. Overall, very nice quality and great support.
The dandies are so cute & really was hoping they would fit & a be comfy slip on. They fit well, except over the toes was too tight making my toes hurt, and slipped big time on my heels! I have always had trouble with toes on shoes being tight, unless they have a generous toe box, my toes hurt. So sadly l had to send them back. I’ve have Taos sandals and love them, the support is great.

Received my Dandy Taos shoes today. The fit is a little tight. My toe comes to the end of the shoe. They are super cute and a half size bigger is $10 more, plus I have a two hour round trip to return them. Not sure what to do, but they are wonderful shoes.
I ordered the Dandy in black. I have a pair I bought from Taos, not Amazon. The two shoes are different…the Amazon shoe is flatter and longer. Obvious difference. And does NOT feel the same. These are going back.
