I got these because the price was right, and like them. I have another pair in the Gold Cup version in a different color. While they look pretty similar, the Gold Cup version is definitely a nicer and more plush shoe, but you pay a premium to get the soft leather lining and extra comfort. Remember these are meant for thin / no socks, so size appropriately if you plan to use thick socks.
I have always liked Sperry shoes. Started with the boat shoes, then the Mako line with thicker soles, then some loafers. Always a good shoe that lasts and looks good. This pair is rounding out my Sperry sneaker line that I discovered lately is even better than the others. Lighter weight, but thicker sole I prefer, tough and attractive uppers, good laces. The red is subdued, not bright, which goes well with my wardrobe. Can't say enough for these shoes!
I bought the first pair at DSW for my husband. I have never bought him a pair of shoes without him before but thought he would like and I could take back if he didn’t. He wears these almost every day and the first pair were very worn looking and I couldn’t find the replacement at DSW. These are almost identical to the original ones and he was so glad I found them. I may order a 3rd pair for backup.
After wearing these shoes an average of twice a week for four months the sole is wearing through. They are very comfortable but they should last longer than this!
I love Sperry shoes. The leather ones look great. They fit a little snug especially with sox but still very comfortable.
These a great for my teenage. He hates dressing up but these are great for in the middle.
Very comfortable. With socks, the size 10 were too snug. returned and ordered the 11s. Very nice shoe. Replacing my Billfish model.
