When it comes to footwear that balances style and functionality, the Sperry Men's Striper II CVO Sneaker stands out among the crowd. Starting with its design, the distressed 'ombre' garment-dyed uppers add an appealing aesthetic flair that complements its classic CVO style. This sneaker is perfect for both casual outings and more dressed-up occasions.
The hidden gore construction is a standout feature that sets these sneakers apart from traditional styles. This not only enhances comfort but also makes slipping them on a breeze, which is a significant advantage for those constantly on the go. Additionally, the cotton laces and rust-proof eyelets contribute to the overall durability of the shoe, ensuring it withstands daily wear.
Another commendable aspect is the non-marking rubber outsole equipped with Wave-Siping technology. This feature enhances traction, making the sneakers suitable for various surfaces, whether you're strolling along the boardwalk or navigating through urban landscapes. The versatility in traction adds to its appeal as an everyday sneaker.
However, it’s worth noting that some users have reported that the sneakers may run slightly larger than expected. It would be prudent to try them on or refer to the sizing guide before making a purchase. Additionally, while the design is chic, the limited color options might not cater to every personal preference.
In summary, the Sperry Men's Striper II CVO Sneaker in Black Ombre is a solid option for anyone looking for a stylish yet practical sneaker. With its combination of classic aesthetics, comfort features, and durable construction, it's certainly worth considering for your collection.

Fits perfectly. Very comfortable as I am on my feet all day. Highly recommend
Purchased the Men's Striper Li Core Sw Grey in 10.5 (and several other colors and types from the Sperry store) back on Oct 2020 for my husband for Christmas. (I like to shop early for the family.) They looked great on him and he loved the shoes, but after very occasional use of this specific color, over the next couple of months, they started to make a squeaky noise as he walked. This was the only pair that did this and we've never had issues before with any Sperry in the past 20 years he's been buying them. So, it's a bit disheartening when a $60 pair of shoes start sounding like the cheap, poorly made pair of $20 tennis shoes. I know during COVID, prices have gone up and quality is declining in many products, but was this just a random lemon, or is this indicative of issues that may occur more often with a brand that's typically of higher quality? Ordinarily, you can't return or exchange shoes that have been worn and develop issues after several months. So, now, I actually am worried about the quality of the next pair we purchase - and Sperry's are the only casual shoes my husband wears.
I work in an office but occasionally walk around and give tours and my coworkers are always talking about how white my shoes are so I switched it up. These are the COMFORT shoe. Seriously. It’s like walking on a cloud. I was shocked. I love them so much I need to get more pairs. Y’all sleepin on Sperry but I’m not
I really like this shoes is the second time I bought them they can be a little loose by the toes to my feet but overall very comfortable semi-fashionable
I like the look of these shoes and like the feel of the arch. It has a fit problem as I am between two sizes. The larger size is too large and these are too small, but acceptable.
Size was true. Color and look was accurate. Comfortable but doesn't feel like an all day shoe. I'd buy again and have bought additional colors.
Nice and very comfortable and cheap
Great textile boat shoe, as usual with Sperry, they fit a little small, so I ordered 1/2 size up (11 instead of my usual 10.5) for a better fitting! Excellent quality and durability!
