I’m a big fan of sherry shoes, this have a good look and feel.
I am not a smelly man, but after a couple weeks wearing these with no socks, they stink; and they stink bad. I am tall and my sense of smell isn’t that great, so I couldn’t smell them right away but other people around me noticed and I’m sure were too polite to say anything, so I just kept wearing them. The poor assistant at the podiatrists office literally shook from his core, gagged, and passed out when he went to cut my nails, and I didn’t realize at first why my little niece came up to me for a hug and stoped in her tracks, turned green and threw up in front of me. If only I was a little shorter and could smell it, I wouldn’t be embarrassed now and I wouldn’t have sickened the people that came near me. I have to accept the responsibility though. The fact that my brown leather recliner turned white where my feet go and opened up like Clark Griswold's Christmas turkey should have got me thinking. Also when I would walk through the nature trails in town and all the animals would follow me should have raised an eyebrow too. When I finally did smell it myself, my eyes started to water and burn and my nose started running. It smelled like a dead raccoon with bad body odor that had just been rolled in manure. I tried the shoe and sneaker odor spray, but it just ended up smelling like someone put a pine tree air freshener around the raccoon’s neck. On a good note the shoes are well made and look nice, and are also very comfortable, they just need antibacterial footbeds or something.
I have purchased over 100 Sperry shoes in my life and they are the best ever when it comes to comfort.
comfortable, fits really well.. i am a 9 wide in Sperry, and 9 1/2 in athletic shoes...
As stated the color is a bit off (not as faded) and it looks great so I don't mind. Been wearing sperry's for year and highly recommend
