This sneaker is light and i adore the mauve color. I returned it because I didn’t like the extra length on the back of the sneaker- it just looked weird and made me look as big foot.
The best person to ask what kind of shoe they should get is an ER nurse. I put MILES of steps on these shoes running around on concrete all day. These are hands down the best shoe I’ve ever tried. I have gone through danskos (death trap, my friend literally broke her ankle wearing these at work), Nike, adidas, new balance… nothing made me not want to cut my feet off at the end of the day. I have high arches, off and on plantar fasciitis.These shoes have amazing structure, they are sturdy, supportive, slip resistant and I have gotten sooo many people asking me what brand my shoes are/compliments. The only thing I would say is a slight draw back is that the laces are kind of slippery material so they can slide out of the knot but I just double tie them. Freaking love these. I will forever buy shoes from boot companies cuz they know how to make a sole. Nike is complete trash. Sorrel knows how to do fashionable and functional. Sponser me🤣 I’ll put them to the test.
These shoes gave me blisters on the back heel. The soles feel very comfortably and light, however the back has a thin suede lining with a hike in the design that rubbed the back of my heel. Unfortunately returned them, but they are really cute and comfortable soles. Would be better with a thicker cushioned back heel area like some of the other models have.
I purchased these shoes from the photos showing a higher wedge under the heel. The wedge under the heel is not higher (I need this to walk comfortably). Second issue is that you cannot easily slide your foot into the shoe. The material on the back of the heel is NOT firm and it takes way too long to get your heel in the shoe. The design of the shoe does not seem to serve a purpose, and the shoes are so long that it looks like you are wearing clown shoes.
These are by far my favorite lifestyle and walking sneakers. I used to have the Nike reflex sneakers that had a larger heel that stuck out so I was already used to that feature. Takes a little time to get used to, I’ll admit. I love the flat bottom of these. They provide me with more stability but they’re still flexible enough so you aren’t walking funny. The first time I wore them, I did get blisters on both of my heels. I inspected why that happened and it was due to the transparent fabric on the inside of the heel. I added moleskin to the inside there the seams met and it’s been a game changer. Now I can wear these comfortably alllll day even if my socks slip down my foot —I haven’t gotten blisters since. I usually get either 8.5 or 9 in sneakers so my toes don’t hit the shoe. I purchased an 8.5 and they fit perfectly with just enough room in the toe area so it doesn’t scrunch up. HIGHLY recommend.
The shoes are great. Sadly, someone has already hiked in them! Not just walked around in them a bit and decided to return them -- they are dirty. Dirt on the sides of the white soles. Grit and small stones lodged in the treads. They were listed as "new". They should have been described as a "returned item" or "used". I am getting really tired of having to return purchases because they arrive in poor condition.
