Comfortable even with socks. But because of the base of the shoe ( which gives it comfort) your foot looks extra big. I went for the recommended size of 9.5 even though I hover at 9 and my foot looks like a size 11. My big toe hits the white outline before the grey in the canvas… I love the colors but I am not sure I want to look like I have boats for shoes. I will reorder in a size 9.
I have had Achilles surgery and deal with huge bone spurs on my heel and these shoes are very comfortable. I typically wear the more real shoe style crocs for comfort and to accommodate the swelling of my one ankle/foot each day. These are very stretchy and never felt too tight yet. I didn't think I'd like them but I actually want a back up because if I find something that works I need to make sure I have a few.
I am a usps city carrier and these are the only shoes that help me so much! No knee or foot pain at all!
I have had 3 foot surgeries and just bought my second pair of these Sorrels. Wear a 7 and have a very narrow foot but bought a 7.5 to wear touring Spain, was walking average of 20k steps per day. What a gem of a fund. Better than my Hokas by far!

I am very happy with the fit and comfort of these sneakers. My heel doesn't "pump" and I don't notice a gap as I roll from heel to toe (pushing off), so I did not have to break them in to mitigate blisters. My favorite feature is the tongue and (sides where other sneakers have the eyelets) is all one piece. It is so nice to not have the pressure points/pain on the tops of my feet. I like them so much that I recommended them to my Mom.
I travel and walk a lot! Sorel is the only brand I can wear and be comfortable in all day! I love how these feel on my feet! And they’re cute!
