I thought these would work because I have a narrow heel and medium toe width. The stiff "pleather" was so uncomfortable and my big toe's toenail pressed against the top of the shoe--not enough height for my toe and I could tell my toenail was going to hurt. Why are all shoes made so cheaply and badly these days?
Real leather, but cut narrow and short. I own two other pair of Softwalk shoes, and they fit true to size. However, I ordered this style in Pewter, and it fit a full size and width smaller than marked. Aside from the sizing issue, the shoes seemed well constructed and had a very comfortable insole. I recommend them but suggest ordering your usual size and one size up.
