These Skechers are great. Very comfortable and look good. More importantly, they don't squeeze my toes together, meaning the toe box is just wide enough without looking like I have flippers on my feet. I bought the black ones and they certainly will get a lot of wear as they will go with everything. I highly recommend these.
I love these shoes so much! They’re true to size and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that they rub my heel if I’m walking too fast.
I normally wear size 9 which is what I bought. The minute I put it on I knew it had to go back. They were too short with the big toe touching the front of the shoe. No room for a thin sock. However, I exchanged it for a size 9.5. (Thanks Amazon for a very quick response.) so I’d suggest getting a half size larger.
perfect casual shoe
Is half size larger than what I normally wear. Did not realize that until I checked my previous pair. This is my third pair. Extremely comfortable walking shoe.
I first focused on these because of the Sketchers brand and good reputation. I took these shoes out of the box, and they looked just like the pictures in the listing. I ordered the gray. I have gray t-shirts, shorts, dress slacks, and skirts so I figured I would get a lot of use out of these. I have. I've worn these with jeans when I'm I out and about; with slacks when I go to dinner with friends; and I wear them with skirts to church. I like the non-slip tread on the soles, the comfort padding around the top of the inside of the shoe, and the padding and arch support inside the bottom of the shoe. That is especially important to me because I was injured and had to have back surgery. I have some nerve damage to my feet that cannot be fixed. These shoes help me to walk better and with less pain. PLEASE NOTE: THESE RUN SMALL. I WOULD SIZE UP A SIZE. I consistently wear a size 9B (even after recovering from the injury). So I ordered a 9. They felt tight when I first put them on, but I figured the shoes would loosen up after wearing a while. Not so. Also it's too late for me to return the shoes now that I've worn them, so I am just going to wear them (with my toes right up against the toe box.) :-(
Product good but it was too big had to return for smaller size.
The design of this shoe is really nice -- especially the sole which isn't overly-thick. I have noticed that the thick soles make one prone to tripping. I ordered a 9-Wide and was concerned it might be a bit loose. While the fit was good width-wise, the length came up a tad short where my large toe is rubbing against the shoe. Should have ordered a 9 1/2 -- which surprises me because I am usually an 8 1/2 or 9. Skechers has designed a nice slip-on shoe but there's something lacking in the insole -- not much arch support. The padding is thick but not firm so that defeats the purpose of having a "cushioned" feeling that actually provides padded protection.I suffer from metatarsal problems and need extra cushioning. Sadly, I can't seem to find a shoe company that can address this. If you have absolutely no problems with your feet, these Skechers are a nice addition. Just might want to consider sizing up a half size.
