Honestly, I can't decide if these look like "old lady shoes" or not... and I really don't care. They are so incredibly comfortable it really doesn't matter.I was specifically looking for a shoe that I could slip on and wear with jeans, shorts, or even comfy, casual dresses. Because I have a condition called POTS, I am often (usually) wearing compression socks, so I wanted something that would look good both with or without socks, which is why I was drawn to this shoe, as it looked like a combination of a slip-on and a sneaker. And it really does look just fine with socks on! (Full disclosure, I'm a fashion-challenged 40-something, so maybe don't trust me on that?) They slip on and off easily, too, I never even have to get my hands involved!I typically wear either a size 7 or 7.5, and I went with the size 7 here and they fit perfectly. They might be a smidge too wide, but I've been told I have freakishly narrow feet, so take that with a grain of salt (and they're not wide enough that my feet are flopping around in there).
I have bought many pairs and colors of these shoes, very comfortable
I wore mine out. I bought mine to use as house shoes because of plantar fascitis. I have not had a flair up since. I even bought another pair to do errands. I washed them and they held up well. Very breathable. Not real warm in winter. Good for price. Durable.
Pros:1. Easy to slip on and off.2. The sole looks like it will help prevent falls or slips.3. Love the gray color and casual look of the shoe.Cons:1. They run small. This is my second pair since I had to return my normal size 8 I first ordered and exchanged them for an 8.5. But even these just barely fit. I’m afraid of getting them in a wide, because the heel is already a little wide and I’m sure a size 9 would be too long if available.2. Perhaps because of the seam/stitching around the top, they feel rough against my foot. So not super comfortable.3. The heel rubs a little and also feels rough. I’m hoping it will get more comfortable over time.4. I have high arches and the arch support on this shoe is very minimal. Because the shoe runs a little tight, I can’t wear my arch supports with them.UPDATE: NOW GIVING A 4 STAR RATINGAfter wearing these shoes a few times, they have become much more comfortable. Apparently they have to be broken in, at least for me. The heel no longer rubs. The memory foam has conformed to my feet which seems to give me much better arch support. I don’t usually walk long distances but have walked a mile or more over the course of a day with no problems. I try to walk a half mile lap once or twice a day plus often walk a mile or more just running errands. I plan to buy another pair in a darker color. So now I can easily recommend these.
These shoes are very comfortable and easy to slip on and off. They seem true to size. I’d definitely buy them again.
I have 2 pairs of these and would buy more if I could find my size. Not the greatest support, so don't go hiking in them. But for everything else they are perfect. Easy to slip in and out of. Comfortable so long as you are not on a really long walk. And stylish too.
I am not TOTALLY in love with the look of this shoe, but with an 11W women's size it's nearly impossible to find quality shoes in my size locally in my small-ish town (population just under 50K), and I did look, and look. I like the sketcher brand because they are already a wide shoe and I have never been let down by them. I wanted something that slipped on I could use for walking, and that was also a lighter color. This was really the only one that was available in my size on Amazon in that color scheme. The pair I *really* wanted was not available in my size at the moment. So, this is the pair I ordered. They arrived and I tried them on and immediately loved how soft and easy they were to slip on. I don't need to bend to slip them on either- they slide right on. They're comfortable, there's no pinching on the back of the heel, and they still feel and fit great with socks on.I have now used them on some walks and they held up great both short off-trail and trail hikes. I am a flip-flop shoe gal about 9 months out of the year but flip-flops wreak havoc on my heel pads and cause cracking that seems to just deepen every year. So I need something that's no fuss and casual to toss on as easily as my flip-flops and just go. These fit the bill so far and I'm very happy with my purchase.I DO wish they were a skosh less old-lady in their vibe but otherwise I'm glad I got them.
Wide in the heel. Feels like it is falling off when walking.
