For the last several years I have been getting dragged down by those heavy overly-engineered shoes that promise... well, I've heard it all. And I've worn them all too. What happens first? The fabric inside the heal shreds, the stitching pops, the lining on the cushion begins to come loose, and the fact you spent way too much money on a shoe that you have to replace in four to six months drags you down even further. I found a shoe by Sketchers, the Hartnell, which I bought on a whim, is one of the best sneakers I've owned in years. It's light weight, well made, and they fit like a glove. I like the minimalist design and the soft heal which makes it so easy to slip-on as you head out the door to do whatever you wish. Its a nice casual shoe.
I've found that Sketchers typically run a little small so I ordered a size 10 ... I usually wear a 9 1/2. Fits great and super comfortable!. Haven't washed them yet but if they don't make it through the wash I'll come back and update.

Price was right (on sale) these are quite comfy for my daily dog walks. Fit is roomy enough for my size 13 feet. Only drawback is the portion of the shoe behind your heel tends to fold under when you put them on because it’s really soft, so I usually have to pull it back around my foot 🦶🏼
