It's like waking on air. Great room for toes, fantastic arch support, and overall cushion feels like nothing. Even better than Crocs. I've never thought much of sketchers, but these are amazing. I'm plus size (300lb) with double wide feet and plantar fasciitis, and these are the best shoes I've ever found. Haven't needed inserts or anything. I hope they last a while. Only complaint is that the tongue likes to get stuck inside with thicker socks, but that's mostly because I don't untie laces.
I've been a fan of the less expensive Skechers GOrun line of shoes due to their lightweight construction and comfortable soft soles, but these have even more cushioning, like walking on firm marshmallows. They are a bit pricey considering that their durability is a bit suspect but it was worth the purchase to find out. I'm certainly happy with them so far.
Besides being attractive, these shoes are exceptionally comfortable especially for those who are on their feet and very active all day. For the price, this is a very durable shoe that goes with anything all colors worn and looks terrific.
at least if you're a hefty person like myself. I weight in around 260-270lbs typically.I only place emphasis on this because these shoes are advertised as specializing in providing extra support:When walking the cushioning is good BUUUUT borderline almost too much. Its very comfy sure but your ankles have to flex a particular way (google pronation) in order to absorb shock. If the cushioning is too much that can't happen in a proper manner and it'll cause suprisingly nasty joint pains all along your leg and back! When running I just flatten these things out and my ankles start flopping around everywhere which is a no-no. Hurts my lower back and ankles real bad believe it or not. So for hefty folks I wouldn't recommend these as runners but for people ~200lbs or less I bet they're fine. The soft foam lower is very soft but they wised up and put lots of harder rubber on the bottom to protect it so they should last a while. The upper is a nice knit material that has lots of give.I bought the 4E/XW shoes and they fit properly for my size. I also put stretchy laces on them so I can use them as slip ons and it works pretty good for walking. I've been using them around 2-3 weeks so far and there are no issues at work all day!I wouldn't bother with orthotic inserts with these shoes, they're just not built for them. You probably won't need them anyways though so long as you're feet don't have special needs. As walkers I love them but as runners, at least for higher weight folks, look elsewhere.
Wow! What nice shoes! Not sure what I was expecting but these are about the nicest shoes I have had. I have previously worn Skechers where the soles wore out quickly and was a little hesitant to try again but these Skechers Men's Max Cushioning Arch Fit-Athletic Workout Running Walking Shoes leave me pretty impressed. Super comfortable with nice cushioning. One of my concerns is ability to resist wear. I think that these shoes will last well because of a nice thick "Goodyear" rubber sole. I am looking forward to wearing them for a good long time and may need to get another pair in the near future so I have a pair for exercise and another for "kicking around."
Shoe is v great and very comfortable. Feet do not hurt at all wearing them.
I wear a size 11 in every Sketcher shoe I've owned. I've worn these shoes every day for about three weeks. The shoe is very comfortable and the arch support is good. The main issue is the rubber going around the top of the shoe has become detached from the fabric on one shoe. I read another comment/photo where the same thing happened. Since I'm unable to return the shoe I decided to glue it back. So far, it seems to be holding. Now, I'm expecting the other shoe to do the same thing. Shouldn't have to do this for an $80 shoe. Other than that, I like this shoe.
Let me start out by saying that THANK YOU SKECHERS these are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I've ever had on feet. I'm someone who work on their feet all day long before Skechers Max Cushioning Arch Fit my feet was tired and hurting after work everyday but after purchasing these Skechers all the hurting and the tiredness is over with...
