Great shoe- ideal combination of lightweight and good cushioning, with mid foot strike, and ample width in the toe box for my wider foot. I ordered more after wearing - finding the ideal shoe not easy..!!
If you run enough you know what you like and don’t. I am a Skechers convert but not a sock fit aficionado. I like the go run ride 7 and thought I’d try this. It’s light and Cush for me but not for longer miles. Short and mid distance maybe but don’t like lack of lockdown. I have the Go Run Ride 8 and like it better for everything. I’m even going to try on 50k this weekend like I have with the go run ride 7. My newer Skechers seem to get higher mileage than older models except maybe max road 2 but we can’t ever seem to keep the ones we love as they morph into something that isn’t waver quite the same regardless of brand
I replaced my old running shoes with these GoRun 7 Hyper Burst running shoes. Wow, what a difference, it feels like I am running on clouds compared to my old shoes. Soon I will be able to run without knee straps. I have a wide foot but ordered my regular size US11. The front of the shoe is a little narrow but not so much that it is a problem. I considered taking a 1/2 size bigger but was concerned that the upper would be too loose. I read a review that said that the upper was a bit loose but I do not feel that at all. The upper sits very snug and hold my foot very secure. I have set new PR every time a went for a run in these shoes. They are so light and easy to run in I will need to slow my pace down. I would buy these again if I had a choice. Well done Skechers! You are raising the bar in running shoes@.Additional feedback:After 520km, 2 of the blue sole pieces came off? I absolutely love these sneakers!!! They fit well and the cushioning and bounce are unbelievable! I regularly run with Adidas Boost shoes and these are right in line with the feel of those for a fraction of the price! Give them a shot, you won't regret it!!
I loved this pair of shoes so much, I bought two more of them. They are extremely comfortable and have ample support. You will probably have to wear socks that come above the top of the shoe as it may rub your skin due to where the top of the material stops. The shoes are light-weight, yet supportive enough to wear and walk in all day! I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these shoes!
These shoes are some of the best all around running shoes I have ever bought in my 40 years of running. The boost foam is the best of all of those type midsoles I have tried and it keeps its feel all through the run. I use it for my 3 to 4 hour jog walks and love it.
Loved the midsole for the first hundred miles, after that the foot pods through the midfoot started to cause hot spots during long runs. Additionally, the show is quite narrow.
