The Skechers Men's Escape Plan Oxford shines in multiple categories that trail enthusiasts value. First, let’s talk about comfort. The standout feature of these shoes is undoubtedly the air-cooled memory foam insole. This plush cushioning system adapts to the contours of your feet, making long walks or runs much more enjoyable.
When it comes to performance, the rubber sole provides ample traction on various terrains. Whether you're navigating rocky paths or urban environments, you'll feel secure underfoot. The water-repellent fabric also plays a critical role in keeping your feet dry during unexpected showers, which is essential for outdoor activities.
Style is another strong suit of the Escape Plan Oxford. The combination of navy and orange adds a pop of color while maintaining a sporty yet sophisticated look. This makes the shoe not just functional but also fashionable enough for casual outings.
However, it's important to note that they require hand washing, which might be a downside for those looking for low-maintenance footwear. Additionally, some users have reported that the fit is slightly narrow, so considering sizing carefully is advisable before purchasing.
Overall, the Skechers Escape Plan Oxford is a fantastic choice for those who seek a balance of comfort, functionality, and style in their trail shoes.

I purchased a pair of Skechers Men's Escape Plan Oxford sneakers while in Germany about eight years ago. They were everything I wanted in a sneaker - support, comfort, and some weather protection. They fit me perfectly and have lasted an incredibly long time given that I wear them daily.I found the exact same sneaker on Amazon and decided to give them a try. They fit exactly the same as when I purchased them eight years ago. So, not only are they a great sneaker, they have probably (I hope) been manufactured to the same great standard as when I originally purchased them.
The shoes are very comfortable. They are true to size.
Perfect with My Bad Foot
These shoes were comfortable and useful on trials but only for about a year.I didn't expect a lot from these shoes except a wider possibility that they would be comfortable coming from Sketchers - noted for their wide range of wide fitting shoes. And the comfort was delivered. I did expect them to last a little longer than a year. I used them mostly for trail walking/hiking on average about one or twice a week and after only 15 months, they have lost enough tread to make them troublesome/dangerous on some sandy, slippery trail hikes.I have had shoes that lasted 5, 10 years in the past but maybe in this era of harmfully disposable lives a year is becoming the norm
Looks nice and very comfortable.
Sketchers makes a pretty decent shoe, and these Escape Plan fit and feel great. They come in wide, which is nice, but I have found they also offer great arch support (I have high arches) and resist my foot's outward roll (supination) quite well. The first pair I bought came to me on time as usual (thanks Amazon), I put them on right away and they felt great until a few hours later I was walking along and it felt like my shoes came untied, but it was actually the top loop of the shoe that holds the shoe string that ripped off. Disappointed, I sent them back and had no trouble receiving an in-kind replacement from Amazon (again, thanks Amazon). However, this is the unfortunate part where I have no idea WHY I did this but while checking out for the replacement I selected my old address for the delivery location but of course did not catch it until it was too late......I got the notification that my shoes had been delivered, opened the front door and couldn't find the box, so I checked the delivery confirmation message you get from Amazon. The delivery person had taken a photo of the delivered box in front of a door that looked familiar, but something wasn't quite right, until I realized why it looked wrong - I hadn't gone through that front door in years! This story does not end happily where I nervously approach the old place, knock on the door and get greeted with my missing box. No, instead I am greeted with confusion and no clue of what I am referring to; so either the Amazon box thief gnome that knew my soon-to-be-favorite shoes were inside and stole them before I had the pleasure of wearing them, or sometimes people suck; I will catch that gnome oneday, and he will be sorry he took my shoes. Until then I have deleted that old address and that, kids, is the moral of this story: DOUBLE CHECK YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS WHILE CHECKING OUT!
Great comfortable shoe
