TLDR: these shoes are great, get themSo back in the day all I wore were Chuck Taylor high tops and checkered Vans. And combat boots but that doesn’t matter right now. I drifted away from these shoes for a while but about 12 years ago I jumped back in the game and bought a pair of each again. Oh the humanity! The Chucks are so narrow I would need to sew two soles together to handle my size 13s. The Vans are great but the arch support=0. I found these and thought “these are really nice looking shoes”. So I bought a pair of these high tops and they’re a gift from above. Great looking (I get asked about these all the time by strangers) and super comfortable. Tney’re perfect now, about six moths old and scuffed up, and I don’t even take them off when I get home from work where I’m on my feet all day. I bought apair of the low tops too. Great craftsmanship to boot...5.5 stars.

These shoes are light, very comfortable, and fit snugly around the mid foot. There is not much arch support, so you may need to use insoles. I’ve had these shoes for about nine months of daily wear on concrete and carpet, and are in generally good shape for how much effort I put into cleaning them. The uppers are only now starting to show wear around the edge of the ankle. About three months in, the sole started to peel off (-1 star), but that was easy to fix with shoe goo. I am likely to buy a new pair when my current shoes die.

My foot is a little wideSo I size up a 1/2 usuallyThis worked perfect.It’s a Smart lookin pair of shoes and getting them from Amazon I saved like $45 off the price if I bought them from the Seabees store.
I had an old pair of SeaVees that lasted forever. This new pair, does not have nearly as much material in the soul and mid-soul.All the other sneaker brands have sold out to the fast fashion trend, and I was hoping that this old school brand would not do that.I would be happy to pay more for a better sneaker. I guess I’ll keep looking around for something else.
My husband loves these! They're very comfy specially for a teacher that spends most of his days standing and walking around and they look great! Will buy more in the near future :)
