When it comes to finding the perfect balance between style and comfort, the SEAVEES Men's Baja Slip On Classic Sneaker does not disappoint. The upper is crafted from a vintage wash linen that not only looks appealing but also feels great against the skin. The soft washed cotton canvas lining adds an extra layer of comfort, making these sneakers ideal for everyday wear.
One of the standout features of the Baja Slip On is its contoured foam footbed. This provides excellent support, particularly with its heel-strike cushion, which absorbs impact when walking or standing for extended periods. This sneaker also incorporates a unique cooling system with perforations and airflow channels. This means your feet will remain fresh, even on warmer days.
The traditional rubber outsole is designed to withstand daily use, ensuring that you can rely on these sneakers for various activities, whether you're running errands or heading out for social gatherings. Additionally, the fact that they are machine washable is a significant advantage, making maintenance a breeze.
However, it's worth noting that some users may find the sizing a bit limited, as well as needing a short break-in period to achieve maximum comfort. Nevertheless, once accustomed to, these sneakers offer a snug fit that promotes stability during movement.
In terms of style, the SEAVEES Baja Slip On effortlessly pairs with casual outfits, embodying that laid-back, coastal vibe. If you’re after footwear that resonates with the adventurous spirit of surfing while providing unmatched comfort, these sneakers could be the perfect match for you.

Seavee's are my personal favorite of any classic canvas shoe. The original models are "no fuss", simple and cleanly styled. Comfort is top notch for lounging (or a day of light activity). The construction and materials are more similar to Keds than say Van's or "Chuck's", while overall quality is super high for such a lightweight shoe. I've taken to buying Lugz brand (skate type) recently due to high "bang for buck" value, but if you typically pay over $50 for canvas sneakers then give a pair of Seavee's a spot in your kicks collection.Fit of slip on styles are slightly snug at first (as with most brands). If you are between sizes, do order the next half size up for those models.
Amazing. Bought one pair on Massdrop and was very happy with it. Immediately after, I went straight for this second pair. I did read quite a few reviews about the shoes wearing out within 6 months--another reason I bought a second pair. Hopefully that does not happen for me. I don't run around in these--they're for everyday use, walking around, going to work, etc.The insole is fairly thick. It's not cushion-y like a pillow, but my feet are superbly comfortable with the thickness and material they use inside. I can lean towards my toes and feel it sink a tad bit in a good way. Same for rocking back on my heels. No hardness or pain after leaning forward or rocking back for minutes at a time. The shoe is certainly not wide, so beware if you have very wide or flat feet. As for size, I don't remember my actual...I think maybe 9.4"? Both pairs are at a 9.5" size. How did that turn out? It is a perfect fit for me in that it is slightly snug, like a sock that fits securely around my foot but does not choke the crap out of it.
I am grown man, I don't believe we should be walking around I sneakers. These are a great alternative. Comfortable, and stylish. Can wear to a game, eWork dinner or the beach only downsidecis they don't last long , not to sturdy.
The baja is much cheaper construction that the Seavees Hawthorne. I wore them heavily but had to super glue the sole and white rubber fast within the month. There is less support and sole is cheaper than you'd expect. If this is on sale for $20-30, i think it's a worthy house shoe and easy slip on, but at more than $30 I'd hesitate to recommend it.The material at the heel is too tight and bites into the achilles heel. I had to cut a 1/2 down on the heel just to release pressure on the achilles.I will not buy them again, but i will continue to buy the Seavees Hawthorne.
Finding size 16 is not always easy but finding them that don't hurt his feet, really tough. These worked great, very comfy.
Bought these for my husband as a gift because he admired my SeaVees. They look great on him—a step up from casual summer footwear. Runs true to size. The slate navy goes with everything!
Wanted so much to like these shoes as my everyday errands, dog-walking, etc. casual slip-on shoes. Was drawn to their being more classic and "adult" in appearance than the worn out Skechers Equalizers I was replacing. First thing I noticed upon receipt was that these are in fact well made shoes. Next thing was that they aren't all that comfortable and also very tight. I wear a size 10 and ordered to size, and while I can't say they're not size 10 because my foot does fit, it's a snug fit with zero extra room. (If these were Euro-sized, I'd say they were 43 rather than 44.) That leads directly to my first big complaint, which is that I can't exactly slip-on these slip-ons quickly or with ease (which is kind of why one chooses a slip-on) and have to use a shoe horn to get into them. It also undoubtedly is the cause of my second complaint, which is that 3 days in to basically only wearing them to walk the dog, I have blisters on my heels from the the edges/seams pressed tightly and rubbing against them. Would not recommend. Would not buy again. And had I not foolishly already discarded all the packaging, I would have retuned these!
Funny story. I love these shoes. I’ve been wearing them for days and I kept thinking to myself these look bigger for some reason. I accidentally ordered size 14 instead of 12s. Now I can’t unsee how clown shoe size looking these are. I still like them
