These are my first real shoes in 5 years. I have super wide feet so I was nervous about trying a new brand. I took them for a walk today and my stride was so comfortable and smooth. They came 2 days earlier than expected, the packaging was simple and clean, they are very lightweight and that concerned me until I put them on. Wow! Right out of the box they were ready to wear. Laced up, and no break in period. I am so happy that I came back for the hot pink version.
I was nervous about buying a shoe online without trying it on, but these worked out very well. I wish I'd gotten just a half size smaller (I usually wear 8.5 and ordered as such,) but it's still wearable. One weird thing is that the color I got- with the pink insoles- actually stained my socks a bit. Not a big deal for me since I'm not worried about how the bottom of my socks look, but it was surprising (I thought I had accidentally put something red in the laundry!)This is a really great shoe and you should buy it. Has great support and cushion.
I have another Ryka pair of sneakers and decided, based upon the reviews, to try the Devotion XT. This model provides excellent support all around, but especially in the arch and the width. I have wide feet (W-7), and a previous bout with Plantar Fasciitis. I can't wear shoes that are totally flat or that have no cushioning. These molded to my feet immediately, and the memory foam insole is comfy. It may have to be replaced, eventually, with a commercial insole, but for now, this works great.I was also looking for a Summer shoe, in a lighter color, and this light grey/white with stripes of blue is so cute. I would caution that, if you must have leather in a shoe, this is a completely man made product, but the mesh of the shoe feels study and, at the same time, does provide support. I should also say that I bought these for every day use. I am not a runner.I will absolutely keep the Devotion XT in mind for my next purchase.
Roomy enough not to crowd your toes. Only shoe that keeps my feet from hurting after working long hours. Lasted over two years wearing 10-12 hours a day . Just got a new pair in mid high, beautiful black with soft teal ribbons. Just beautiful! Every day a patient says how pretty they are.
Absolutely love these shoes for jazzercise. Highly recommend if you are in jazzercise or aerobics. Very comfortable and supportive and believe me, I've tried many different brands and these were the best.
These shoes are very comfortable and offer great support. I love the cut out behind the ankle so it doesn't rub. The purple/pink/white are really cute too. The con is that they run small and narrow. I sized up 1/2 a size as I wanted to use for workouts but they are too small and narrow for what I need. They have a narrow toe box. I gave them to my daughter who has smaller feet and they fit her great.
I am grateful to be able to purchase shoes from a popular manufacturer at a reasonable price! Of course, they are extremely comfortable to wear!
Delivered Dec 29. Return window closed Jan 31. Broken sole Feb 13. These shoes have a very wide toe box and never felt tight or secure enough on my feet. I always felt a little less traction in the sole than I wanted and my ankles felt vulnerable. I used these at indoor strength and conditioning classes for 2-3 hrs per week. I should have sent them back since today a part of the tread fell off. Will attempt to contact the seller to refund since they should have lasted more than 6 weeks.
