EDIT: About 1.5 years later, both shoes' bodies are separating from the toe cover, right where my little toe presses. So, you can probably order your true size, but the time to properly pack-out will be long. I also laced them with a straight lace to make them roomier ([...]; it's a little kooky because there is an odd number of holes but still works if you let the free ends come out from under instead of normally through the tops of the holes).Other thoughts: Shoelaces WILL NOT stay tied with a regular knot. I do not think the length is shorter than the size should indicate, nor do I think the width is narrower than expected as some other people have commented. I think what is actually going on is that the toebox is a little more tapered than most shoes--you can see this if you look at the photos, the toe is more pointed than many sneakers. At first, I thought it was a little bit tight, and it does seem a bit snug in the mornings, but seems to loosen up by afternoon.I haven't felt that my toes are any more compressed than when wearing flats, so I'm okay with the fit, especially because it fits perfectly in every other aspect (height, width in the middle and heel of foot, heel box). I'm not really able to laterally spread my toes while wearing the shoe, but they aren't smashed together either. If you are concerned about this, I would suggest buying a HALF size up, rather than buying a wider width. Had a pair of these already. Loved enough to purchase again. They do tend to run a bit shorter than other rockport sneakers I own. They are very comfortable and lightweight.
Sure wanted these shoes. Loved the look on my foot but just a bit too small so returned them. I've never worn Rockport's before and normally wear so ordered a 9.5 M. The next size was not available so I couldn't order "up". I posted a 5 stars b/c I loved these even though my size wasn't available.
Small by a half-size. My mother always wears a 7.5 but that one was way too small. Order up! So stupid that sizes can vary in price by $40+. Guess most of my low rating--Amazon not being helpful on this one. The shoes are nice but I'm disgruntled by the process of getting them and getting them in the right size.

These shoes are so comfortable that I can wear them all day without longing to take them off. The support is great, the aesthetics are great. I love these shoes so much that I am buying all available colors. This is a good look for jeans, shorts, etc. They are a little dressier than typical athletic shoes while still retaining that casual comfort. Rockport makes some truly fine shoes and pricing is very reasonable.
