The Rockport Women's Chranson Ebano Nubuck Sneaker excels in several categories, which makes it stand out among its competitors. Starting with comfort, the 45mm wedge height provides a subtle lift without compromising stability, making these shoes perfect for long days spent on your feet. The ethylene vinyl acetate midsole ensures that you experience great cushioning while walking, significantly reducing foot and leg fatigue.
When it comes to style, this sneaker’s sleek design pairs well with both casual and semi-formal attire. Whether you're heading out for errands or meeting friends for lunch, this versatile sneaker will add a touch of sophistication to your look.
In terms of durability, the rubber outsole not only offers excellent grip on various surfaces but also stands up well against daily wear and tear. Coupled with a mesh lining, you can expect enhanced breathability and quick-drying capabilities, which is particularly beneficial during warmer weather.
Another significant advantage is the care instructions; being machine washable makes it easy to maintain the sneakers' appearance without requiring special treatments.
However, potential buyers should consider the limited color options available, which might not appeal to everyone's taste. Additionally, while the wedge height is an attractive feature for many, some users may find it higher than anticipated, which could affect comfort levels.

EDIT: About 1.5 years later, both shoes' bodies are separating from the toe cover, right where my little toe presses. Still working fine other than that, if a bit worn by now.---------EDIT: after 6 months of wearThe shoes now feel more true to size but I never did stretch them out with the dryer as I mentioned because I am lazy. So, you can probably order your true size, but the time to properly pack-out will be long. I also laced them with a straight lace to make them roomier ([...]; it's a little kooky because there is an odd number of holes but still works if you let the free ends come out from under instead of normally through the tops of the holes).Other thoughts: Shoelaces WILL NOT stay tied with a regular knot. Instead, use this knot: [...]---EDIT: After a couple weeks of wear, I have decided it might actually be worth ordering half a size up. When I get access to a blow dryer and thick socks again, I'll probably be trying to stretch these out a bit.---Very comfortable shoe and seems well-constructed. I do not think the length is shorter than the size should indicate, nor do I think the width is narrower than expected as some other people have commented. I think what is actually going on is that the toebox is a little more tapered than most shoes--you can see this if you look at the photos, the toe is more pointed than many sneakers. At first, I thought it was a little bit tight, and it does seem a bit snug in the mornings, but seems to loosen up by afternoon.I haven't felt that my toes are any more compressed than when wearing flats, so I'm okay with the fit, especially because it fits perfectly in every other aspect (height, width in the middle and heel of foot, heel box). I'm not really able to laterally spread my toes while wearing the shoe, but they aren't smashed together either. If you are concerned about this, I would suggest buying a HALF size up, rather than buying a wider width. The wider width may help the toes but it might become too loose around the instep and heel. The included insole is fine but doesn't have a ton of arch support. I'll probably look into getting superfeet in these at a later time.Great shoe if you can get a little discount on it! I'm not sure I would have paid $99 but I got it for a bit cheaper.p.s. You should know that the way you lace your shoes affects the fit quite a bit. Check out this page for some invaluable info:[...]
Had a pair of these already. Loved enough to purchase again. They do tend to run a bit shorter than other rockport sneakers I own. They are very comfortable and lightweight.
Sure wanted these shoes. Loved the look on my foot but just a bit too small so returned them. I've never worn Rockport's before and normally wear so ordered a 9.5 M. The next size was not available so I couldn't order "up". I posted a 5 stars b/c I loved these even though my size wasn't available.
Small by a half-size. My mother always wears a 7.5 but that one was way too small. Order up! So stupid that sizes can vary in price by $40+. Guess most of my low rating--Amazon not being helpful on this one. The shoes are nice but I'm disgruntled by the process of getting them and getting them in the right size.
a little too narrow for my feet even though they are supposed to be a wide width
I want to get back into walking and now having shoes that feel great will have me up and looking forward to my daily stroll. Great quality, too!
Very narrow and not that comfortable. One a positive, note they weren't heavy at all.
These shoes are so comfortable that I can wear them all day without longing to take them off. The support is great, the aesthetics are great. I love these shoes so much that I am buying all available colors. This is a good look for jeans, shorts, etc. They are a little dressier than typical athletic shoes while still retaining that casual comfort. Rockport makes some truly fine shoes and pricing is very reasonable.
