I love these shoes. They’re a perfect combo of leather and comfort. I bought them for a trade show shoe. Walked miles around Orlando. Worked multiple hours standing in a booth at a trade show. Even when my knees and back got tight from long term standing they were cushioning my feet. I’ll be looking for these year after years as I absolutely LOVE these shoes.
There are shoes that, when you first put them on, immediately feel comfortable and that seem to fit your feet perfectly. These shoes were not that--initially.I have owned several pairs of Rockport shoes over the years and really like the brand for it's fit, comfort, style and durability. It was because of this that I felt comfortable ordering these shoes via Amazon without trying them on. When I first tried on these Rockport shoes, they were stiff, not as soft and cushioned as I expected, and the firm padding around the back rim of the shoe bothered my heel and achilles.However, as I have continued to wear them, they have "broken in" very nicely (or I have simply adapted to them!). These shoes are now one of my favorite pairs to wear as they are quite comfortable, well cushioned and they offer a casual yet dressy look along with being waterproof. Yes, these shoes are really waterproof which was an important factor for me seeing as summers in south Florida can produce a great deal of rain.My only issue with these shoes is that they are slightly large for my feet. I have a wide foot and the added width is perfect, however they are on the large side length wise. A 9 and a half would have fit me better than the size 10 that I ordered.Overall, I really like these Rockport shoes because they are comfortable, casual yet dressy, and waterproof. They have become my got-to shoes.
Purchased this product once before one year ago. Fit and finish is what I expected. Shoe sole material durable and long lasting. Shoe color is difficult to duplicate, but avocado shoe polish works well and gives shoes a nice sheen. I wear size 13 regular with know problems in long duration wear. Manufactured in Bangladesh with real cowhide that's waterproofed, a plus. Superior to synthetic materials used by Chinese manufactures. I recommend these shoes that can be wore daily.

I've owned Rockports in the past, and don't ever remember their Medium width shoes being this narrow.I walk a lot, about 12 miles a day on average but never less than 10, and need a shoe that can hang with me and not make my feet scream at the end of the day.These came last week. I tried them on and everything felt OK and so I was looking forward to the next AM so I could try them out. The first day was like "OK these'll break in, but they're not bad"...The second day, I'm trying to find reasons to like them.The third day, I'm begging my feet to accept them.The fourth day, after five minutes I turned around and changed shoes to something that don't make me feel that the lost art of foot binding was somehow my new unexpected hobby.These shoes are a half size up from what I've been wearing (they're 13 and I've been wearing 12.5 US) and still, they're just too narrow. I don't have a wide foot, and have never ordered a wide shoe in my life.These shoes are now well past the point of return, and I've wasted $145. Yeah, I'm disappointed.
