I am pleased with this sneaker for casual wear and for walking. It is stylish and comfortable and provides good arch and foot support. I was surprised it was cut a bit big in length. I have worn Rockport Shoes for many, many years and this was the first time I’ve ever had a shoe feel a bit too big. After purchasing however I’m not sure if I had ordered a smaller size if it may have been too small a fit for me.To compensate for the bigger cut is I will wear a heavier/thicker sock.If you plan to order this and not wear socks I would then recommend a half size smaller.The width of the shoe was cut to size and not cut too wide. The width of the shoe was true to size but not the length of the shoe.
These shoes are very comfortable and as expected from Rockport, we’ll built, not to mention that they look nice. Very light but you can tell that they are built to last.
Wanted to use these for walking, but now they are only for "looks" as they are stiff, dig into the heel, and not very lightweight. I would have returned but I was in the middle of too many projects and thought I might "break them in" later, but not possible.
I was really looking for quality shoe without the bizzar colors, cheap mesh uppers, cheap foam or too thin rubber soles. These shoes checked all these boxes and more. The bad: they seem to be made for someone with no Achilles tendon. They press on on the ankle, and are not comfortable even tho they fit like a shoe that is 1/2 size bigger than I ordered. I have been wearing a size 9 for a long time, and thought I could easily buy shoes online. They are 1/2 inch longer than 2 other pairs of size 9s that I own. I had to return these. If they could fix the ankle problem they could have a great shoe.
Excellent choice for work. Super comfortable
I was very disappointed with these sneakers. I expect better from their name and reputation. When I first wore these, I got a blister on my left back heel and needed to break these in. They are heavy for a sneaker, I was surprised! They offer no arch support and you walk flat in them. My legs tired quickly without support. They feel more like a shoe then a sneaker. I do not recommend these sneakers. The eyelet tore on right side of sneaker after about 12 to 15 wears. I'm in process of returning them. I have had many years of use with Rockport products and always had good luck until now. I will remain open to Rockport products and continue to purchase.
