I so wanted to love these! I am normally US9.5 but I ordered size 9 and 9.5 in these. Size 9 was too small for my left foot, but although my toe was touching the front uncomfortably, the heel was slipping off! Size 9.5 was a lot more comfortable lengthwise, but both shoes were slipping off as I tried to walk. I tried to “tie” them and that was probably was missing...you can’t adjust the width of them as so for some reason this style of shoe just didn’t work. Having said that---they are super light and seemed so nice and comfy that I wish they fit me better!

I love the Reefs as an alternative to hey dudes. The dudes just aren’t as durable and I am already a Reef girl for my flip flops. I originally got a pair for my husband and he’s obsessed with his they’re all he wears now and has 3 pairs so I figured I needed to try them for myself. I love them too. Super easy on and off to just step in without the back smashing. They stretch out a bit and run just a tiny bit big but it’s more like they don’t rub or squeeze rather than they are too loose to where you need to size down. I got my true size of 8 and they are perfect.Another great shoe from my go to brand!
I love Hey Dudes and after reading some reviews that these are better and more comfortable, I decided I had to give them a try.I usually wear a regular 7.5 in dress shoes, sandals, etc., and size 8 in sneakers and boots. Hey Dudes run on the bigger side, and for those I wear a size 7. Thinking these would fit the same, I ordered a 7 and 7.5. The 7.5 were too tight and my big toe was really pushing up against the front. I returned those and tried a size 8. The size 8 in these was definitely comparable in size when I lined them up with my size 7 Hey Dudes. They look like the same shoe but in some ways they differ -- the Reefs offer more cushion in the sole, and more padding in the back of the heel. The Reefs are also wider and looser all around the ankle, making them easier to slip on, however, cause my heel to lift out when walking. The solution was to tie the strings more taught to close up that opening and tie to secure - no more slipping heel - however, I really don't love the way these shoes look when tied. It kind of defeats the whole purpose for me.I wanted to love these since the pink color was so pretty, but for me, they are not up to par with Hey Dudes in the fit. I do like that they offer more cushion though. It's a pass for me.
