These shoes are very comfortable and the fit is true to size. I did a brisk three-mile walk in them just after I received them and felt like I could keep going for hours. No breaking in required. They’re attractive, too.
I bought these for running in a swim spa. They are lightweight and breathe and drain well. They are comfortable and provide support. They have lasted quite well in the pool.
I have wide feet and sometimes have trouble finding good walking shoes. I've also been an avid runner for a long time, and now have lots of pain and problem areas. So I did a lot of searching to find some comfy, casual shoes that were wide and cute. The color is great. I love the look of the shoes, and got lots of "cool shoes!" comments from people while wearing them. However, I personally thought they looked a bit clowny and big, as the toe box is so wide. I feel like the difference between a wide shoe and this extra wide shoe is much bigger than the difference between a normal and wide shoe. If that makes sense. But, then again, my mother in law liked them so much she bought herself two pairs. They're definitely comfy. I can wear them on long walks and not get tired or achy feet. They win all around in that category. On the negative side, the bottoms are weird. I live in a neighborhood with several gravel roads, and the gravel always gets stuck in the sole. They should design them to have fewer gravel sized gaps there, as it's a very annoying and constant problem. Literally every time I've worn them I've had to stop to dig something out.I'd definitely say they're worth it if you're looking for comfy, casual shoes, and especially something for indoors.
I have foot and ankle problems. I also have knee injuries that affect my hips. All of this adds up to having a very hard time finding the right shoes/sneakers so I can walk without pain.I have tried so many others I lost count. They never did what they advertised they would do. If these didn't work I was going to bite the bullet and spend around $300 for a brand hoping they would work. These were comfortable from the first time I put them on. I have wide feet and the xx-wide fit great. My toes weren't bunched up nor were they not supported because the width was too wide. I do have flat feet so I did put in an arch support, but just a cheap one. It was double-padded and cost $1.99 and it solved my arch issue.I have spent $$$ on arch supports that never helped me. For the first time my feet aren't burning and painful at the end of the day after work/errands. I will be buying more in different colors. I would recommend trying them.I have used the the "try before you buy" option and I love it! It makes it a non-risk purchase. If they don't work out you can just drop your item off at an Amazon drop-off free of charge. They pack it and mail them back. Really no down side to it.
These shoes fit great even on my problem feet. They are extremely comfortable and lightweight, making walking easy. I love that they are stylish, they don't look at all clunky like most other wide-foot shoes do. I usually have trouble with shoes being so tight across the top that I can't get my foot into them, but these Propét sneakers were very easy to get on. The toe box was fine in width, but a tiny bit shallow vertically, but not enough to be uncomfortable. I went for a long walk right after I put them on for the first time, and my feet felt great. This is my second pair of Propét shoes, I love both pairs, and I am so grateful for stylish shoes that fit!
I was so hoping to love these shoes! I will return them if I can find something else to try because my toe next to the pinky toe bumps into the shoe and hurts :( . (And this toe has never been a problem for me before.)That being said, other pros and cons:PRO:Really lightweight shoe! Not heavy and clunky.I personally like the style, as far and xwide shoes go.Comfortable in the big toe region (which is where shoes usually hurt on me due to a bunion).CONS:Too narrow of a toe box (see above)Insoles are not supportive (but I would have gladly bought add-on insoles if the shoe had been comfortable)If you are unsure, I would say go for it and try the shoe. I just wish it had worked for me.
It is really difficult to find cute wide width shoes, these are cute, extra wide, comfortable and a great value.
They came earlier than expected, the fit is great and the width is just what I need. The insole is a little thin but I can add some orthotics. I really recommend them.
