This is my 3rd pair of Propet Travelactiv shoes. I brought a couple pair on my trip to Portugal in Sept. 2019 and walked for miles in complete comfort. Any time I see these shoes on sale, I buy a pair whether I need them or not. I have a hard fitting foot, very wide at the top and narrow at the back. I have had to take a double wide in some shoes, but with this particular one, the area around the ankle was a tad wide, so after purchasing three different sizes, settled on the 8W which is a 1/2 size larger in length than my "normal" size. The shoe is very stretchy across the toes. If you wear orthodics, you're going to need to get them a little bigger, in spite of what some of the other reviewers are saying. Also, my husband thought they were very stylish.

I like the fact that it comes in a wide size shoe. Which I totally love. I bought some sandals with the size 8.5 which still fit like a size 8. Barely any difference in size. I went by that size thinking that the size should be the same or actually a little size bigger, I was wrong. There is definitely a size difference in the sandal and the tennis shoes. Actually I feel no comparison so don’t go by that size if you happen to buy the sandals. At least for my foot. I was able to return the wrong size 9 without any problems. I still ended up getting the size 8.5 and it seems a bit big but worked fine. I believe that your actual size will be different. It’s hard buying a tennis shoe without really trying it on. These shoes run different than the regular tennis shoes you normally buy. I will say that the width is great and it is a very comfortable shoe hands down. If I really knew my true size on these shoes I would of been much happier. One thing you hate doing is having to return a shoe because the size run different. I believe the size runs a bit bigger than the normal so watch out for that. All in all I didn’t care to much for the upper part of the shoe. I choose that because I thought this would be comfortable. The problem with that is that you have to tie the shoe string a little tighter which bundles up a bit. Not that comfortable for your upper part of your foot. But it is a good shoe. I would recommend getting the top part with the support lining instead. I still love this shoe.

I just love Propét TravelActiv shoes! I am a fan of these lightweight shoes. I wear them indoors in the Winter for children's programs I do for the Library as well as all Fall, Spring and Summer. They fit well and I always need room for a small insole inserted in my shoes, and plenty of room for that also. I love the way they look and feel!
I have a large foot and I was expecting to be disappointed, again, when these shoes came. THEY WERE PERFECT!!! Light weight, comfortable and the fit like a dream. I ordered 2 more pair so that I would have them for a long time.
I have many wide Propet shoes. These are not as wide as my others hence the 4 stars. I will not be wearing them all day. I do however love their look. I usually order 8 1/2 W. I’m getting thinner socks so they will be comfortable. Since they are smaller around the top at ankle they work. Even though they’re higher on foot they don’t look like old lady shoes since they have the laces. They look great with capris and shorts. Good price too.
