I have a very difficult foot to fit and shoes are rarely comfortable. Right from the beginning, these sneakers fit like a glove and felt like I was wearing slippers. The inserts are removable, if you want to insert an orthotic -- I do use an orthotic, but I found these to be so comfortable that the orthotic isn't necessary. I also like the no-tie laces -- they make the shoe very easy to get in and out of. I really like that the sneakers are extremely lightweight and don't feel as if you're lugging around a tugboat when you're wearing them. The cherry on the top is that they're very attractive and flatter my feet -- stylish, with-it, and they don't look like your grandmother's shoes. You can wear for athletic events or just around town. Highly recommend.
I love these shoes/sneakersWore them within minutes of receiving them. I bought a half size up since they did not have www and they fit like a glove. I am an older person and I wasnot sure the red would work for me, but they do. They feel flimsy at first, but that is because I am used to new balance which is much much heavier. There is room for orthotics if needed. Tomorrow I am going to click my heels and go! When I ordered them I did not notice they were tieless laces...another bonus.
That I purchased a second pair should tell the story. It is so hard to find narrow width shoes. These are very comfortable and attractive. They are not clunky typical sports shoes. My feet are happy when I have them on with my custom orthotics under the liner. The only down side, if that, is the elastic lacing allows a snugness but cannot be tightened for a more supportive fit which is what I need some days.My first pair were gray.
I wear a 6 1/2 2E. I usually have to buy a 7 2E. With Propet, I probably could go with a 6 1/2 as they are a tad long. Putting them on feels like putting house slippers on. They are great as long as you don't need to walk any distance. These are NOT walking shoes. I've owned several pairs of Propet shoes over the years. They are lightweight and the design is cute but they don't have much support.
I have this same shoe in black and they fit perfectly. I ordered the same size in grey and they were too short. I am disappointed because I love my black pair. To get in a bigger size was going to cost approximately an additional $20 and I couldn't justify that. I had no choice but to return the grey pair.
I like this shoe so much that I order a second pair after the first pair wore out. The shoe is pretty much a slip on shoe, which I like. I have neuropathy in my size 2e - 4e wide feet, and have found these shoes to be very comfortable. I usually find that long distance car and air travel causes me discomfort in my feet. I have been able to give up wearing slippers on long trips, and wear these shoes instead.
My daughter liked these, but the loop at the top ripped apart after less than 6 months of wear. And my daughter is not overly active. Poor quality
I have several pairs of Propet shoes purchased through Zappos . I read some of the reviews from purchases made on this product and almost didn't buy because they said the quality was inferior to other Propet shoes they had. I did not find this to be the case at all. I wear a size 11 Narrow so I order all my shoes. Usually I don't get the sale prices others get because my size sells out fast before the sales start; however, I lucked out on these shoes. I am really going to enjoy them this fall and winter. I like the laces and it is true that I would not feel comfortable hiking in these shoes because they don't cinch up as tight as walking/running sneakers do, but I am only planning to wear these around the house and out for pleasure. Love them!
