From day one, this sneaker is pure comfort! I saw the sale & jumped on these right away & just hoped that they'd fit. The reviews seemed really positive & with my carpal tunnel & arthritis, the idea of a velcro closure was really appealing. Lucky me! There's great arch support & even my wide feet have breathing room in these sneakers. There's padding all around the tongue & heel so there's no place that this feels uncomfortable. I bought the 7 wide shoe & I have enough room to wear socks comfortably & my big toe has space to move but not so much that they feel too big. For walking these are great! There's lots of support & the cushion in the heel means very low impact. I've had knee & back problems & the type of shoe I can wear for any length of time without pain has been a problem. This shoe has been really helpful in extending my ability walk distances. The mesh on the top is also great for keeping your feet cool on warmer days or when you're doing chores around the house.Overall, I'd recommend these to anyone who'd like a simple & comfortable shoe. They also look great!Update: After a few months now, these have been worn quite a lot but still look almost new! I have to pull cat and dog hair from the velcro occasionally but other than that, I still love them. I can see that I'll need to replace the insole with my orthotics though. The original insole was great at first, but it's wearing out quickly.
Anytime I get shoes for AFO's I'm looking for something durable, they have to be solid to ensure the AFO is secure and able to do what it needs to. These are light and attractive, but not durable. They'll last maybe 3 months.
It has been almost a decade and a half since I’ve owned shoes that fit me properly. The availability of shoes in width/length ratios that suit my duck feet is life changing. I was able to get a pair on sale for about 1/3 the current price, and hope to catch another sale because I came back to try and buy another pair as soon as I had tried them on and found them more expensive than I can currently invest in one pair. They have stood up to a couple of weeks with me so far, and seem to be holding up well so far. So comfortable and not hideous like so many ortho shoes I’ve tried on.I am still geeking out about having shoes that fit and telling everyone how amazing that is.
Cons: The inside sewn-in tag says "100% leather upper"; however there is nothing leather on this shoe lol.. it is only knit fabric and some sort of plastic material. So that's kinda shady. The tongues of the shoes appear to have been cut away from the top part where it should be attached. This causes the tongue to move side-to-side instead of covering your foot. Once the velcro is fastened, the very puffy large tongues stick up in a clownish manner. The fit is weird because of the way the top part and tongue are made.. it feels like part of the shoe is missing. Really odd and hideous shoe. Possibly the ugliest shoe I've ever had on my foot (and most of my shoes are orthopedic shoes). Also it does not come in a box from Propet nor does it have any Propet hangtags on it.Pro: Only positive thing is they were a true wide width. Also thank goodness I can return them.
Roomy fit. Had to add heel lift and more arch support. Comfortable and able to walk in all day. Bought for a trip to Myanmar because of the Velcro strap so will be easy to take off and put back on during visits to temples.
These shoes are REALLY comfortable. Wearing a 12-narrow, I have not been impressed with most of the athletic shoes for a narrow foot. Propet has designed a great shoe, lots of cushion and support and the one strap at md-foot works impressively. They look great on the feet and 'breathe' through the top of the shoe. I'll probably be buying a second pair soon.
I bought these shoes for walking.I can wear them all day and they are still comfortable
I really liked these shoes but the support did not last!! Had to switch out the insoles for alegria insoles after 2 weeks.. now a month later the sole is completely compressed.
