It is almost impossible to me to find shoes that are 6.5 xw with arches and insteps that are high enough for my feet; I have the kind of feet that look great on a ballerina with pointe shoes. Toss in a pair of orthotics and it got even harder. I love boots and haven't found anything boot-like that I can wear in over 30 years. It doesn't matter whether or not I like them; they just have to fit.My first pair of these was the black ones and I love them! They are very combat boot-like and are fun to wear. The zipper on the side means that I can get my laces adjusted the way I want, then unzip them and take them off. The laces are ready to go for the next time I wear them; I just have to put them on and zip them up. I'm almost 70 and it gets harder to tie shoes every day so the zipper is a fantastic feature! They are very comfortable for me to wear.I realized that the blue ones look a lot like Converse hightops and I've ALWAYS wanted a pair but they don't fit, so I got them. I'm delighted. I'm getting white laces for them so they are more like the Converse.They fit perfectly with my very thick orthotics and are the most comfortable shoes I've owned in a long time. I tried on over 30 pairs of shoes to find four that I can wear with my orthotics.Should I buy another pair of the blue ones so I have a spare?
This boot fits great for cold weather as I ordered normal size (12) yet can wear thicker socks and they are still comfortably roomy. My toes can't be cramped and these fit great. Leather is nice and overall look is cute; not clunky.
The shoes don't have a lot of foot support. I had to put new insoles in to want to wear them

Love these shoes. A lot of reviews talk about them being too narrow or the sizing being off, but that wasn’t the case for me. I’m usually an 8M and that’s what I ordered and they fit just fine. I’ve worn them every day this week and I love them.
