ordered these for my husband who loves wide shoes. I wanted leather. I wanted camel color. We needed comfort for 5 miles plus walking daily on vacation. One day phone clocked 32K steps in Paris in one day. These saved his feet. We got caught in rain storm in Austria and they survived. He did spray them with rain protector before we left. Highly recommend these shoes. They matched all of his outfits.
True to size and so comfortable !
Nice looking, well made shoe. Seems to be true to size. Can't speak to durability yet but previous Propet shoes I've had wore well. Best feature is that they come in my size, 17. Only down side is a very flat footbed with little arch support - insoles solve that problem.
Kudos to Propét for making a skate shoe in wide sizes! This shoe comes in size XX-Wide and X-Wide. As it turns out, XX-Wide is actually like a size 5E, and X-wide is like a size 3E. (Amazon does not state this info on it's website.) Not knowing this when I ordered, I got the XX-wide first, and they were way too wide. So I ordered the X-Wide, and they are perfect! It's a great looking skate shoe with a nice build quality. If I had one complaint it's that the black dye on the shoe can rub off on the white walls of the other shoe when they touch. But I really like these shoes!
They mean wide! My husband wears a 16 4e and these are even wide for him. Not a bad thing for those with wide feet.
The shoes fit my feet just fine, but there are a little bulkier than I like so I haven't worn them often. They feel fairly comfortable - not like walking on clouds but comfortable enough for me to where all day while walking around. After the third wear, I noticed the soles were quite dirty with what looked like coal or ash. I tried cleaning them with a wet wipe and when the edge of it touched the leather of the shoe I noticed the color from the shoe transferred to the wipe. The return period has closed so I'll probably toss them in the trash. Needles to say, I don't recommend them.
The retail photos look a lot better than in person. These look more like skate shoes than potential hybrid dress casual sneakers. Build quality does not match price tag. The neon green outsole slots look super cheap (not that it matters). The xx-wide sizing is spot on though.
