The removable footbed is another significant advantage, allowing you to customize your level of comfort. This feature can be especially useful if you have specific orthotic needs or prefer additional insoles. Moreover, the embedded EVA cushioned board significantly adds to the comfort level, ensuring that every step feels supported and light.
In terms of performance, the thermally controlled rubber sole stands out. It delivers a responsive cushion that keeps your feet energized, making these shoes suitable for both casual outings and longer walks. Thanks to the flexible sole, you'll find that ease of movement is never compromised.
However, it's worth noting that while the Viator Hi Shoe is stylish and functional, some users may find that it requires a break-in period to reach optimum comfort levels. It's hard to find nice looking mid top sneakers that aren't full blown basketball shoes. Stumbled on these. Never heard of the brand before, but without a doubt a favorite now. These shoes have a great design with multiple different color options. Fit is great and they are extremely comfortable. The also are a great option for people with wide feet as not all Sneakers have a wide option.
I am always having troubles finding shoes that are comfortable in the width department. These were very comfortable right out of the box. Almost no break in time at all. Very light, good looking, and just what I needed. Happy with them. I don't do a lot of running or sports in them so I expect they will probably last a while.
The product looks great as well as feel great. Impressed with the quality. Would love to see more colors in this shoe.
I thought the WW (5E) would have provided my 11 year old with plenty of width, but they didn’t seem much different from any other 4E. He does say that they are comfortable, so that’s a plus.
I'm really particular about how my shoes fit so I don't often buy shoes online. I've seen and tried on Propet shoes at the DXL store though, so I knew a little bit about the brand. I'm 51 and wear a size 14/15 extra wide, and have bunions on top of it, so a lot of "wide" shoes are too narrow for me. These were PERFECT for me out of the box, which is great because I can't stand shoes that need to be broken in. I also wear orthotics and these shoes accommodate them really well also. The high tops provide ample support such that I can wear them when walking on uneven ground for long periods while playing disc golf, so now I don't need to wear my Keen hiking boots unless it's wet out on the course. As for the size, my feet are a size 14 lengthwise, but I often have to go up to a 15 to get them wide enough for me. With these I ordered a 15 EW and I probably could have gotten away with 14EW. The only thing I'd change about these if I could would be to make the soles softer and more cushioned. As a big guy with EDS and being a fast walker, my feet and ankles take a lot of stress. The side to side stability is awesome though so maybe more cushion would negatively affect that. Would recommend.
Loved the shoe & the material
Have had these shoes 6 days shy of 2 month, noticed I have 2 cracks on the sole of my left foot. The shoes are light weight and comfortable, but not lasting as long as anticipated.
My husband loves these sneakers. They fit beautifully, have a stretchy fabric that he loves, and are soft underfoot. He was concerned that they would be like high tops but they are not. These are just high enough to have an attractive, modern look.
