I wanted this to be a good shoe. I have been wearing New Balance for years but the new shoes New Balance are coming out with are poorly made and to narrow. I read the reviews on these and bought a pair. 15 EEE. Here is my problem ... They make the heel much wider than the average shoe. They do this for better balance but there is too much room in the heel. I had to tie the shoes very tight too keep my feet from moving around in the shoes. After walking for an hour and 10 min, my ankles were sore and remained that way for a few hours. I don't like to have my shoes tied that tight. As far a being a wide shoe, they were nice and wide but I have never bought a shoe with so much space in the heel area before. I think it would be very hard to run in these shoes. If you don't walk, don't run and just want to wear them back and forth to the grocery store, they might be a good shoe.
I have only worn the shoes once, but they fit as expected. Like the walking shoe, it is very light and feels almost cheap, but again, with my custom ortho inserts, they worked fine. I will give a more thorough testing in the upcoming week.
