Every 5 years or so the boots that I look so hard to find are discontinued. And I have to go hunting for another model that isn't hard to break in and fits naturally so as not to cause my feet to hurt. After 50 years in boots my feet are pretty beat up. Backpacking, farming, industrial plants, construction and military service have all taken a toll. Recently after trying 3 different brands I came across these. They are well constructed but not extra heavy and only took a day to get comfortable in. I find them warm and easy on and easy off. Sturdy enough for general outdoor use and nice looking.
