When it comes to foot health, especially for those affected by diabetes, the Propét Men's Stability Walker stands out as a top-tier choice. One of the most impressive features is its wider forefoot and heel base, specifically engineered for stability. This design helps distribute weight evenly, reducing the likelihood of discomfort or injury during prolonged wear.
The PU insole is another highlight, boasting cushioning ridges that contribute not just to comfort but also to shock absorption. Such features are essential for anyone looking to maintain an active lifestyle without compromising on foot health.
The shoe's construction from either full-grain leather or Nubuck adds a layer of durability while making it visually appealing. Although available styles may be limited, the focus remains firmly on performance rather than aesthetics.
Additionally, the removable insole allows for customization, a significant advantage if you require orthotic inserts. Importantly, being Medicare-approved means that these shoes are accessible to a broader audience, easing financial burdens for those eligible.
On the downside, some users report needing a break-in period to achieve optimal comfort, and the focus on functionality might deter those looking for trendier designs.

So the first pair I purchased lasted less than a month when one of the eyelit hooks breaking so it was a quick exchange to get a new pair. After only 2 weeks with a new pair I took a look at the heel of the sole and noticed it wearing already considerably.I bought these to wear at work, I walk 10 miles a day as a letter carrier. They're a nice shoe, but for the price I expected them to not show wear on the soles after only 2 weeks.
I cannot even begin to express how much these have helped my Grandfather. With diabetes, knee problems, etc. getting around can sometimes be tough. I told him about these and he decided to give them a try. The verdict is in: he says they're the most comfortable shoes he's ever had. Walking is easier now, his knees don't hurt as bad, and the fit is perfect. Overall, I am happy that these shoes worked for my Grandfather and I highly recommend them to anybody. Yeah, the style might not be the best, but on the flip-side they help out a lot. Also worth mentioning is the fact that they're cheaper on Amazon by about $30 compared to Zappos (which Amazon owns and used to send out my order haha.)
they fit fine - true to size, but I didn't care for the way they felt. but then again I am hard to please.
excellent walking shoe
great shoes, I will always order Propet
