These shoes are very roomy in the toe box, comfortable, and offer good support. The removable insole has a good arch and molds itself to the contours of your foot. The shoes were comfortable all day from the first day I put them on, so I didn't need to do the "wear them for 2 hours per day" break-in treatment. In fact, the third day I owned them I wore them to work - on a concrete floor for 12 hours, and had no problems at all. This is definitely my new favorite shoe.
These shoes were supposed to be very wide. They apparently were cut smaller than the size implies. They were given as a gift and I just found out how bad the fit was. The return window has expired. I will not buy anything again from Amazon that was made in China! As much as I have bought from Amazon should amount to something!! I need my money refunded for these!!
I need shoes with flexible uppers and roomy toe box for my wide feet so I don't have painful rub points. These shoes work for those needs. I would prefer New Balance 928s but these Propet shoes are readily available and $60 cheaper. This Propet model has a true SL-2 last, wide and deep toe box with a narrower ankle area which helps the shoes to hug your feet and contribute to stability and comfort. Many of the other brands that claim SL-2 last (even new balance) are allowing the ankle area to be wider like a standard wide shoe which causes a loose fit in the back area. These Propet shoes seem to run a little narrower than other brands. The footbed enhances stability but does not have as much cushening as other brands of walking shoes.
Bought 8 pair over the last 3 years times for under $60 each. Time to re-up, I log on, now listing for $84.95?! Not cool. Shoes are very wide if you need it. Durable enough at the previous price, not at $85. Looking elsewhere.
Wrong color sent. Black instead of white. Too much pressure on outside ball of left foot. My Propet sandals don’t have this problem and are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.
My husband has very painful feet and has seen many doctors for his problem. They advised surgery for (tarsal tunnel: like carpal tunnel-but in the feet region). We don't have the luxury of him taking two to three months for recovery of surgery, nor can we afford the $800 orthopedic shoes that doctors prescribe. Upon receiving and wearing these sneakers, he says the pain in now lessoned. I believe the design with extra width is a contributing factor to his now "Comfortable" shoes. "Thank you very much" I am hoping the durability will withstand time. Definitely a product that we would "need" to buy again in the future. Great product/great service!
I am so disappointed. My previous Propet 13 5E (from Zappos) is the first shoe I've ever been able to comfortably wear because of its width. So when these wore out, I simply ordered another pair. Look at the pictures and you can see what happened. The new shoe (same model number and size) is much narrower. I included a bottom picture to dispel someone thinking that the new shoe is simply not broken in. It is actually a full 1/2 inch narrower and I can't wear them, had to return.
My new Propet Men's Stability Walker shoes are plenty wide and fairly comfortable. These are not cu$tom made $hoe$ and they did require some breaking in, but this is to be expected with new shoes, especially with uniquely wide feet like mine. They seem plenty sturdy and quality appears to be good, but I haven't worn them long enough to confirm it.I walk 2-miles a day and will update my review after I've put 500 miles on them(half the manufacturer's mileage warranty). To sum it up, my new Propets are plenty wide, seem sturdy, are fairly comfortable, and appear to be a good value. I would recommend to others.
