My husband has a very wide foot and these are great. We did take them to a local shoe repair to have the sole stitched to the uppers. Living in CR we have to order these from Amazon as there is no shoe here that fits his foot so we want these to last as long as possible. Amazon did a great job of getting these to us quite quickly.
Was Looking for a whole foot extra wide but the toes were for Ballet !!!Luckily I used try before you Buy !!! Have a great pair of casual work shoes from them !!!However these sneakers were too tight in the toe, mid arch area !!!
Great shoes for orthotics
ordered 1/2 size larger as suggested - ended up with a full size larger. Loose but seem to be fine so far. I have always used New Balance in the past, but the last two pares made my feet hurt after a few hours of use. That was a 4E size, the biggest width they have. I think they have become narrower. The 5E Propet don't bother my feet with extended wear time. Don't know how long they will last, but my feet aren't hurting.
I have already reviewed the Propet Men's Cliff Walker Boot, Black, 12 5E. I got this pair of walking shoes in white and black. The fit is perfect for my wide feet. Don't wear shoes that are too narrow!! You don't have to and the quality of Propet is amazing.
Great product for someone with stability issues; especially the width helps prevent my ankles from twisting and has totally stopped my falling. Price and service was great.
On my 3rd pair and is now almost August!I have had to use ShoeGoo on every pair as the sole of the shoes have separated on every pair.Also, the shoe string loops are metal and they have very sharp edges on the inside of the loops.They cut into the shoe strings within a few days and up to a couple weeks. I have had to replace the stings with high quality and heavy duty strings for each of my shoes.The stability and quality of materials overall (Other than the string hoops) are all 5 star. Heavy duty and wide base has corrected some of my walking issues and I am no longer in "Pronate Pain"I have had these since December now and they have been perfect.The price when I bought them was a bit lower but are well worth any price.The souls are very solid and wide so they support my extremely wide feet under my heavy body.Most of my shoes wear the souls down in under 2 months. It's been almost 3 and these are showing no signs of wear!I will be purchasing these again!It is now the end of March 2019 and the shoes still show no signs of wear on the souls. The laces broke in January but I have replaced them and they are ready to be replaced again. There must be a sharp edge on the lace holders.Still great shoes and will purchase again and again.
I wear 6E shoes and it has always been a problem with running/walking shoes except for the high end New Balance. Now that they are over $100.00 and I think the quality has been slipping I decided to look for something else. I ordered these in a 11.5 5E, my normal size and they were too short. I sent them back and got the 12 5E and while they sort of fit the shoe narrows at the end too fast. My little toes end up being squeezed in the end which makes them very uncomfortable when i have walked in them for any length of time. As soon as I get home I want them off. I should have returned them but I was hoping that being leather they might stretch a bit but that has not been the case.
