I just returned a shoe that was 4E mostly because of the tongue but I will say that they fit more comfortably in the width department than this shoe does in a 5E so this shoe is a little narrow for the width advertised. Beyond that issue, the shoe does fit great and is very comfortable. The feel nice when I sit (no biting into my ankles) and they feel great while standing and walking. I recommend this product.
I was looking for a wide foot quality shoe and these delivered. Have been wearing these for a while now and they feel great and give me the support I need.
I have a very difficult foot to fit. Wide with a very high arch. I used to buy New Balance, but found that over the years, they seemed to have changed the way they fit my foot. I tried Propet about four years ago and was surprised to find that they fit wonderfully. Well fitting shoes are important, especially since I am also diabetic.

Because of a car accident, I have lymph edema. Propet is the only company that makes shoes I can walk in. I'm a woman in my 50's (okay, I'll be hitting 60 next year). Because of these shoes, I am able to keep living the way I want to.The soles grip, even in mud and rain. The shoes are very stable; no tipping. Also, they last a good, long time. Other shoe brands just can't take the punishment. Propet Men's stability walker sneaker doesn't let me down.SO WHY ONLY 4 STARS? Because Propet says these shoes are extra-extra wide, and I still have to buy a size 10 in order to accommodate the swelling that occurs, due to lymph edema. I feel like a little girl walking around in daddy's shoes.WANT 10 STARS, PROPET? Make a women's shoe that is deep and wide. I'd love to look down at my feet and see a shoe that proclaimed, "Woman!" instead of looking down at my feet and having them scream,"This is all I could squeeze into!"
This shoe was for my husband who found this shoe works best for him of any shoe he has tried. He has had several pair over the past 2-3 years and still loves the way they feel. He wears a pair to work in outside and keeps a pair in good condition to wear on trips for all the walking. He has found wearing other brands to work outside is not worth the pain.
