Bought for a mesh/lightweight shoe to use for work. Walk about 3-4 miles a day at work and these are very comfortable and perfect. At first they were too large so I had to return them and buy one size lower and now they fit absolutely perfect and I would dare say the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn in my entire life. The ones I got are not waterproof so I would be scared to use them in heavy rain or snow/slush but they do have another model that’s waterproof I think but can’t rate those as I’m guessing those are heavier and not as flexible and comfortable as these. Perfect shoe!!
These sneakers are the best! Great quality and very durable. In general I think hiking shoes are not very fashionable and all around ugly but not these. They look cool but still have the comfort for hiking and walking all day.
These are so wonderful! I was looking for a new pair of shoes for a trip I'll be taking and after some review searching found these shoes recommended as the "Best shoe for older men". I may not be old yet, but I'm a bit on the heavier side and I'm not quite as young as I used to be ;) so I figured these would be worth the shot.I am very happy that I tried these because they are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever had. After miles of walking or extended periods standing they still feel comfortable and I feel no pain. I will definitely be checking these out again for future purchases.
The fit is great and comfortable to walk long distances. I use for Golf, provide stable footing. I have used in damp condition and light rain but not enough to evaluate the waterproof performance. So far I am pleased with these shoes.
So, I have been a Merrell fan for years. With my age/feet they just seem to be the most comfortable. In comparison to previous versions the have reduced the tongue dimensions making it a little more difficult to get on properly, they eliminated the heel pull strap which again adds to the difficulty in getting them on. They also reduced the size of the lacing loops. I prefer to use the elastic laces as it helps with wearing them throughout the day but this pair was difficult to remove the original laces and hard to get the new ones in. This indicates a poor direction of their products to me. Amending my review, discovered they didn't really even sew or glue the heel cover strip. Another instance of the cost cutting?
I wear a size 10 wide. Merrel's sizing seems to be always spot on. These weigh half as much as my Merril work shoes. Not quite as much support as I would like ( I'm 66) but very comfortable.
Bought these because i liked the nova 2 and couldn’t get those in stores anymore. The nova 3 fits well, but hasn’t even lasted 6 months. These were used as an every-day general purpose shoe worn at work and around town. Torn as to whether i’ll try another pair.
