Very light and comfortable. I will wear them put on no time, putting them on everyday.
...I can understand someone saying the half-size was maybe a bit too big...in my case the length was slightly longer than expected but the toe box was very roomy (I have bad toes) so this was very comfortable for me. Again, the D width & size was basically spot-on and the shoes in general are very comfortable, so maybe these may not be "perfect" but otherwise I am very satisfied. I can't suggest at least in my case going down a half size because it would have been too small for me especially in width. I wouldn't suggest jogging in these but as dress walkers they certainly fit the bill. I have some high-end suede/nubuck dress shoes and these are a decent compromise of comfort & style. I can't comment on the wear & tear but I'll touch these up with some water proofer and go on from there. I would suggest that based on my own experience that you order in what would be your normal size. They don't seem to run small like many of the Chinese/Asian makes and do appear to run closer to western sizes. My only negative is that on first wearing these don't seem to "flex" the way I like when walking. That may change after some wear and it may just be peculiar to me.
Look good fit good
They aren't like regular sneakers. They show scratches. Walk slow and don't bump them on a stair or step off of a sidewalk where they may touch a stick. I licked my thumb to touch up a blemish after bumping the shoe on something and it is still noticeable that I tried to improve the appearance in that spot, so don't try that with these shoes. The pair I purchased are my normal size and they fit. They are light weight. I don't know how they will hold up.
Well made and very light
This is my second pair of central park sneakers.Pros: lightweight, no break-in period, excellent ventilation, better insole than the first version.Cons: half size is oversized, not reinforced heel stiffner.
