They are true to size, Comfortable fit, they do need to be worn in at first. We used bandaids in the ankles for a week and then they were fine. It really depends on the type of footing you have. Our son has very pronounced flat feet. But these shoes look very nice and give him comfortable support.
I tried many other kitchen slip resistant shoes for working behind the bar, these have been the most comfortable so far and they are truly slip resistant. I will definitely buy them again The only issue is that it seems like they're going to fall apart quickly. I chalk that up to me working a lot.
I ordered them thinking they were more of a boot. Dont get me wrong, I love me some "Chuck's", but Im too fat to do a ten hour plus shift in them. I dont hate them, I just cant use them.
I’m a chef and needed new shoes for work, I really like these high tops, they look sick as hell and they have excellent traction. Worked in them for 7 hours tonight, didn’t have a rough time during breaking them in.
Sole stitching starts coming apart in about a week, not quality at all
Very comfortable and stylish
As seen in the picture, the shoes or sneakers are completely destroyed…I bought them in mid August 2023 and by January 2024, both have cracks in the sole same spot, both …the sole separated from the shoe and the stitches are for the look only …supposedly oil and water resistant…well I put them to the tests …because I work in the restaurant business…and I work everywhere, including the kitchen…they been exposed to wet work sometimes and they could not handle it …they are about 4 months old only …I had other type of shoes with similar characteristics, oil and water resistant, certified and non certified for food industry and they last me over a year all the time …so my expectations were around that meter, not 4 months …They are comfortable, but not real work shoes and maybe not even good for street shoes…I want my money back, please 🙏Just look and comfort, terrible quality and materials, false advertisement…period
I usually have to order a 1/2 size bigger to fit shoes but these are perfectly wide (i am 5'10" 230 lbs) unlike other canvas chuck taylors. These are supper comfortable and light. Well made, and the soles are super sticky and grippy. Much better than cheap pair of chucks. Aside from my twistedx shoes and keens, the most comfortable casual sneaker i ever owned.
