I've had these shoes for a couple weeks now and I really like them! The all-black looks great with any outfit and I love that they aren't covered in a huge brand logo. They don't have a lot of support, but that's nothing an insole can't fix and that's really just an aspect of this style of shoe that is hard to avoid. I'm happy to have an affordable alternative to Chucks that fits my wide feet! Apparently Lugz has been around since the early 90's, so they must be doing something right lol Overall I recommend these shoes to anyone looking for affordable canvas high-top sneakers.
they are super comfortable, first day you put them on, the look cool, these are the best converse clones on the market, they are much cheaper than converse, they are more comfortable in my opinon, only problem i have with these lugz and every other canvas lugz shoe with the same sole design, they only last 3-4 months of regular use until the bottom sole starts to split, its funny how it always splits in the same spot along a line that is placed there, it almost like they "pre cut" the bottom of the sole so that if you enjoy the shoes you will want to buy a new pair to replace them. im pretty sure the company is aware of this design flaw but honestly it makes sense, they are competing against the all mighty converse. the shoes are super comfortable they just dont last long and im pretty sure the manufacture is aware of it.
Been really impressed with the quality of some of Lugz' recent offerings so I naturally had to try these out as well. I've been wanting a pair of Vans or Converse styled hightops for quite a while but can't bring myself to pull the trigger for their usual pricepoints. So when I found these for 30 bucks and in my size no less I thought it was perfect timing. I find myself really digging the fit all around and am impressed with the flat yet comfy sole but I do foresee myself needing more cushioning if I am to use these shoes for longer and more taxing days so I may invest in some alternative insoles. Overall I can't recommend them enough and I'm very pleased. I'm only taking a star off because the tips of my shoes came in slightly scuffed and scratched but otherwise they look damn great.
I wanted some high tops, but their price was ridiculous. Saw the Lugz at $35 (versus the Converse at $70+) and ordered even though they were on backorder. Received 3 weeks later. Fit was wide width and had fit was roomy and comfortable. Once I confirmed the fit, I ordered a second pair at $27.99 and this time shipping is just one week!A couple of negatives; the shoes ship in the Lugz box only. Box barely contained the shoes, but the shoes were fine. Other thing to consider; these are not the shoes to wear to the airport or doctor's office. You have to loosen the laces all the way down to get your foot in and out, but that be how high tops roll.
I said value because it's worth is worth the price. An inexpensive shoe and lasts as such. Did not last so long as expected. But the canvas material is good. The sole was not thick as I expected based on the price of the shoes. If you're looking for a shoe to last a little while for cheap,this is good.
These were initially for a Halloween costume now I wear them anytime I need a comfortable black shoe !

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes - one in all black and one black and white. BOTH pairs were defective. The all black pair had a huge air bubble in the bottom of the shoe where it was glued together incorrectly. Both shoes had the issue, but not in the same exact place. So I tried on the second pair and.... they were defective too. The sole had a hard ridge where it has been glued wrong also. No bubble this time but a very hard ridge. Very disappointed!
