So glad that I spent the extra few dollars to buy Leo tap shoes for my 7 year old daughter. These shoes are not only comfortable, but the velcro straps are easy for her to put on/take off as well. They are beautiful and shiny - look brand new after weeks of wear. All of those make these a 5-star purchase alone... but if I could given them 10 stars, I would... because the SOUND of these tap shoes is where the quality shows. Leo makes some of the best taps in the world. So glad to have found them for a reasonable price... I am SO glad that I didn't buy cheaper shoes that wouldn't have sounded so crisp or been this beautiful. Will definitely buy again once she grows out of these!
Very happy with the quality of these shoes. They are very similar to the ones our dance studio provides, and fit very well.
The only problem is the Velcro straps are a little long. To have shoe tight enough not to flop you have to tighten the strap which means the it's touching/hitting the floor or sticks out to the side.
I purchased these shoes for my toddler and they are sturdy, but a bit too narrow. I'll have to size up pretty soon. I would recommend these shoes, but be sure to get sized, before you buy.
