I really loved the look of these online. There were only two reviews to go by-so it was a gamble. It paid off for me.I typically wear a 7 to 7.5B or Medium width shoe. I am on the wider side of a medium width and in some shoes (like Ferragamo) I prefer a C width. Shoes that are marketed as wide are usually too wide for me and fall off my feet.I have other Kelsi Dagger shoes and already knew that run a bit wider than the standard B width. I don't like tight shoes as I live in a subtropical climate and do not wear socks most of the time.I decided to try these in size 7 based on the open back (my other KD shoes are all 7.5 but are enclosed styles). These are wide. Initially it was hard to keep them on even bare feet. Then I decided to see if the laces were adjustable or were just for aesthetic purposes. They are adjustable. So I tightened them until they stayed on while still being loose enough to allow air flow.Perfect!I could not be happier with these. They are much more stylish than standard slip on tennies! These easily elevate anan outfit. The leather is buttery soft. The soles have decent grip.Would I wear them for a day at Disney? No.But, they are perfect for running errands and such when you want to look stylish but don't want to wear heels. These are fashion shoes-if you are looking for serious support shoes these are not for you.I like these so much that I may invest in the other color.
I have wide-ish toes and narrow heels, and I'm generally an 8-8.5. I wear normal and wide width shoes, depending. I bought this in 8.5 because of the pointy toe (and because the 8.5 was significantly lower in price than the 8). I am very pleased with these. They are quite flattering, versatile and stylish. These are meant to be worn with bare feet, so you have that sticky-factor of bare feet. I was afraid they would slide off because they are flats and on the larger side of perfect, but they don't. They are comfortably loose, like summer shoes should be. They are slightly longer than my foot, but the right size. (I hate the look of a hanging-off heel). The front fits me nicely. They are big enough that they shouldn't need to stretch and seem like they will maintain their nice neat shape in the 8.5. The 8 might have fit me also, but I'm very pleased with these and I'd get the 8.5 if I ordered again. These probably wouldn't work for narrow feet. An average width foot between 8 an 8.5 should probably try the 8. These are much cuter than in the picture.
The mule sneaker is cute but it's wayyyyyy too wide. I have found that most slides by Kelsi are too wide.
Kelsi Dagger shoes are well made with trendy designs. These are comfortable right out of the box and the leather is of good quality. Pleased with this purchase!!
